James Bond is not a video game character, he is a character from movies that were ported to games. It wouldn't be a good idea.

He would be based entirely on the use of weapons, so I imagine he would be like Snake: Fun to use, irritating to fight against.

Might be cool, though he'd probably be a Snake clone.  Never gonna happen, though.

No, I don't think he should be in a SSB game. Somebody should make a SSB game similar to MUGEN so nobody complains about a lack of certain characters. ::)

Snake had some earlier games on the nintendo.... granted it sucked but atleast he was around. I do agree that they were both bad ideas.

I think it'd be interesting to see a Morph Ball-only form of Samus in the game. Maybe.

Both Sonic and Snake have appeared on Nintendo consoles, and both are solid choices for SSB.

As you said, Kojima wanted Snake in Melee, but didnt have a enough time, so they put him in Brawl.

Sonic got in due to a large fan vote, I believe.

If anything, I can see more old school nintendo characters coming into the mix as assist trophies.

As for the topic at hand, I'd pick Klonoa, Pac Man. Simon Belmont and far more then James. Sorry, James is cool and all, but he's not cut out to be with a bunch of video game characters =P

Why isnt donbe in it? Ephraim, Micaiah, Elincia, Lolo, Lala, Bub, Bob, Crono, Animal Crossing character, Mii, Waluigi, Eliwood, Lyn, Hector, Baby Bowser, Ninten are some id like to see

Pac-man can have a move set....assuming we're talking about the Pac-man with arms and legs....


He can have some punch combos...

Most of those characters you listed would more then likely be Assist trophies rather then actual characters. In fact, I believe Waluigi IS an assist trophy. As for Animal Crossing, I think Resseti is an assist trophy. I'll assume you also named a bunch of Fire Emblem characters (sorry, not a big fan of the series) but honestly I think 3 characters and 2 assist trophies full of fire emblem stuff is enough.

Crono is from Chrono Trigger, correct? He might have been a likely choice, but I'd put Geno ahead of him if you wanna count SquareEnix characters.

Bub and Bob are Taito characters and I think they'd be a rather tough decision to put in Brawl, again, possibly as assist trophies.

Just my thoughts.

I'll tell you who needs to be put in SSB4.  Fucking Ryu.  His SFII attacks would be perfect.

i dunno, Capcom and Nintendo have a bittersweet relationship. Honestly he looks like he'd fit.

They have had a bit of a rocky relationship ever since they decided to not make RE4 a Gamecube Exclusive. At least I believe that's one of the reasons.

Well, Japan knows who Lucas is, and games don't change much during localization.  How else could Marth and Roy have gotten into Melee?

Fire Emblem is in America..I'm not sure if Marth and Roy are in it, though.  I don't play FE.

Now it is, Fire Emblem that is.

Fire Emblem wasn't in America until just after Melee.  But Marth's game wasn't released in America until recently, for the Nintendo DS.
