What's the lastest famicom pirate made?

I think that multicarts are still being produced as of 2009 (the quality has been steadily decreasing though).
As for the most recent pirate Famicom game made (HK original), I have no idea.

Multis is right, and probably those pack-ins with famiclones. There were a bunch of Chinese original RPGs made between about 2000 and 2006, I believe.

It would be interesting to find paperwork of pirating companies with dates of when certain pirates were made. I wonder if that'll ever happen. Of course, it'll probably be in Chinese or other sort of languages. awa!

:D That game would suck -- screwed graphics and music that turns off and on for no good reason. Plus a funny looking panda, of course.

I've seen a famiclone being sold at two of my local flea markets that comes with a pretty impressive multicart.  One of these days, I'm going to go back and bring my Akumajo Densetsu to verify if its just another, in this case, Famicom-on-a-Chip or if its actually a quality famiclone (like the elusive Sachen Q-Boy) that can handle the extra expansion chips and sound channels.  I figure I'll also bring along one of my Famicom to NES converters and totally blow their mind when I show them what they're actually selling (ever seller didn't know squat, only that it had a bunch of games on the cartridge).

I don't actually know the details of the games; I just put them together. :P

BTW - how many "Super Mario" games were made? I was going to put something, like Mario 42 - but didn't know what the latest one was.

Goes up to 17 -- I've never seen an 18.

It's weird how all the different pirate companies knew how many had been made. :o  Unless all/most of the major Mario hacks were made by the same company.

Well, actually they screwed up several times. There are two of 4, two of 6, two of 9 and two of 14. 17 was released without 17 on the title screen; it's only on the label.

How and why did they do this?
Wouldn't they think that "Mario 99" would sell more than "Mario 4-17"?

Oh I hope that we'll see Megaman 9 Famicom edition someday, but I hope it wont be pirate but instead be a home project of the wonderful rockman hacking community in japan that produced such awesome hacks as Megaman Ultra and Rockman no Consistency.

Rockman 9 on a Famicom cart would be great indeed.
