Title: Copy Master - What do all the options do?
Post by: RGB_Gamer on July 19, 2009, 10:40:10 pm
So I have an FDS disk that has Copy Master on it. Here is a screen shot of what comes up when I load it with my Game Converter (works like a Game Doctor, but it's black) + FDS disk system:

can someone tell me what the different options do? Like what is the difference between Doctor Copy and Magic Copy?

The only thing I can tell you is that you can calibrate your FDS drive with the SPEED TEST option.

How do you adjust the speed? No matter what button I press, it always says the Speed is 8 or 9

There's an adjustment screw located in the FDS drive motor, marked with +/-. You have to turn this screw while Copy Master's SPEED TEST option is running. Tuning the screw will change the motor's speed and therefore the displayed number.

I have been looking for a pic of where to calibrate the drive motor but no luck. Anyone have a pic?
