I seriously doubt that, if you had any famicom pirates in your possession he would get pissed at you and besides i read an article saying that both of his kids did not have any interests in gaming.

Didn't realize this until a recent piece of mail, but this game was originally on the 7800.  I thought it was on the NES or something, so why in the hell did you make this thread, TOOOASSTY BAKER?

Ok, so according to earthwormjim, his dad's friend is the only one who ported Robotron to the 7800, and no one else helped him at all.  Sounds logical to me.
