my brother lives in Japan and he recently found this wireless Famicom controller. It doesn't have a receiver and has a small screen. was curious what the receiver is supposed to look like. I've look around for this controller but can't find anything. Thank!
I have similar wireless controllers. Here's what the receiver & controllers look like:

Hey thanks! I'll see if my brother can find something similar. Now...whats the LCD all about?
Maybe the LCD is for battery power, signal strength, or controller number. Have you put batteries in it to try it out?
Are you sure it's a wireless controller?
It looks like the button press counter thing.
It's a famicom controller-shaped alarm clock, hence the LCD. I saw it in Wired Magazine a few months ago.
You're right...here it is:

Ah, ok. Well its too cool! Only downside is I didn't bid on a cheap $5 Hudsonsoft Turbo controller b/c of this. Thanks for clearing this up.
signal strength maybe? The OP image looks like one of those recently released controller based LCD clocks though..
[EDIT] while I had this open I see a bazillion folks posted! :D
I bought this bad boy.

Hey, I've got that exact same remote. Could you possibly either message or PM me on just how in the hell to get it to work? I have a JVC 32-inch television and I've never been able to get the Famicom Remote Control to get it work. Maybe you can provide some assistance?
Where did you get that Remocon controller set? Would you happen to have a link for someone that sells them? I want to hook up my Famicom Twin on my TV in my room, but the in system controllers are too short for my taste. Do the controller work well? If so, what's the farthest you can be from the system? My Twin Famicom has the controller plug on the side, not on the front like the Famicom these are made for. Does that matter? Please help!
