For the original gameboy? My fav that i have batman the animated series. My fav that i want is shin chan 4.
Probably Ninja Gaiden: Shadow. It's basically a port of Kage for the GB.
Micro Machines
Tetris and Mario's Picross.
On the Game Boy I like puzzle games best.
LSDJ...
Hands down.
I also LOVE the music on Castlevania and the Batman by Sunsoft is great too.
pokemon red
Super Mario Land 2
Zelda: Link's Awakening. I still haven't played the "upgraded" version yet. Also really liked Sword of Hope and FF Adventure.
links awakening DX and pokemon red
If I had to choose one, it would be Final Fantasy Legend II. I even made my own game genie code back in the day for it: 888-888-888. Use that outside the gates of Venus Castle to find a bunch of random dummied items!
Other favorites include Mario Land 1 and 2, Link's Awakening, Lock 'n Chase, Ninja Gaiden Shadow, and Final Fantasy Adventure.
Kinda out there, but Lost World. If anyone has played it, you might know what I'm talking about:
-overall fun game
-interesting maneuverability
-good music
Either R-Type DX or Pokemon Crystal, if GBC counts.
Another favorite one I forgot is Great Greed
Final Fantasy Adventure and SML 2
The Gameboy version of Bionic Commando (the Gameboy version, NOT the Color one) is my favorite version of the game. Excellent music, great anime cyberpunk style, and better swing control than the NES version.
Zoids Densetsu
Truely my most favorited gameboy game, sadly one of my ex-friends whom shall not be named stole it from me 3 years ago.
Yes, the game was a Japanese import, so I have been unable to replace it.

Ooo...I'd love to own an LSDJ, but I've never seen it for sale anywhere. Any clues to where I could find a cart L_E_T?
My favorite GB game is Megaman IV [Rockman World 4]. All the best parts of Megaman 4 and 5 NES with a Capcom sound team that by this time fully understood the GB soundchip and was able to crank out some of the most godly chiptunes ever. Seriously. who doesn't love the Rockman World 4 title theme? It's fantastic!

You still can replace it now. Importing from Japan is easier than ever, especially when you know somebody in Japan. *cough* ;)
For LSDJ satoshi I would recommend nonfinite, he's a top bloke. I don't know if Johan has his own site but I got mine from nonfinite and he has a good shop:
http://nonelectronics.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2&zenid=2e33f52b3bdfc6beb5442e9f6259d578
Alternatively you could hope for one on ebay or do a bigger google search but I'd recommend the above as it's cheaper and easier.

Would you be able to find it?
Yes of course.
PM me if interested.
King Of Fighters "95 lolz
King of Fighters supposedly has custom sound effets when played on a Super Game Boy but I can't prove that.
My favorite Game Boy game is Small Soldiers.

REALLY? I tried to play that and I found it nearly unplayable, but it looked ace. Maybe a manual would have helped cos all I could do was jump around in a stif manner like archer had piles!
A lot of the later THQ titles were like that; killer graphics with incomprehensible game play. Pocahontas is another good example.
There are so many great Game Boy games, its hard for me to pick a favorite.
Stop That Roach! is definitely in my top five.
My favorite is SML2 also!
I have tochange my answer. I was just playing tasmania story on my 40in1. That game is amazing!
Yeah im planning to make a youtube channel with reviews of the rarer pirate games, ill put up pokemon ruby and all my rare games and make reviews, rare as in like teletubbies the mario bros hack so ill make reviews of rare pirates ill let you guys know as soon as i make the reviews.
btw pokemon ruby is not a platformer, its like a pokemon game with a lot of glitches and terrible english.
