Title: Question about composite cable hubs
Post by: nintendodork on September 05, 2009, 11:23:27 pm
I don't know what you call them, but they're the things that you hook to your TV/VCR, and then you hook up X number of game consoles to it, and then you control which console you want to play with buttons.

Anyway, my question is, since apparently it's impossible to make one of these with more than 4 inputs, is there any way that I can hook two of these up to one TV?

Of course, just plug the output of one of the selector's to one of the inputs of the other selector. You can hook up as many as you like in this fashion.

I thought about that, but for whatever reason, I didn't think it would work.  Thanks for reassuring me, though!

The one I have has seven inputs. Check ebay maybe.

But won't PQ suffer immensely when you chain up more than 2?

Only if you use crappy selectors and cables. If you use quality stuff you can chain up as many as you like without any noticeable picture degradation.

My friend has some of those, but he uses it for TV not games. Shame. :P
