Title: Korg DS-10 Synthesizer
Post by: nintendodork on September 25, 2009, 11:17:44 pm
I got it on my R4, and I saw this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_AaXKQZbXY

How is he doing that? >_>  It's obvious the straw is in the speaker, so I have no idea how he's changing the sound through the speaker and not the microphone.

The sound is just going through the straw and into his mouth, then he moves his mouth to change the sound, i dont really know anything about sound or how it works, but it sounds different with different space, like talking.

Or something.

Hmm.  It was a lot easier than I thought. >_> The only thing I don't understand is how he projected the sound so much.  Mine sounds really quiet when I do that.  Maybe it's because I'm not blocking the right noise out enough?

That's awesome.
Maybe I'll have to get me Korg after all.
My wife seemed interested, too.

Korg is great for a weekly commute as you can get a good track done in 10 half hour journeys easy.

My commute to work is a 3 meter walk to my desk.  :D

I tried that on KORG for my DSLite, it works but the quality sucks cause the speakers on a DS Lite is 6 small holes

Yeah, I tried it last night on my DS Lite. >_>
Not so good.

The game/program/synthesizer/whatever itself is great though.

When I first bought my DSi, I was amazed at how much better it sounded than the DS/DSL.  The talkbox thing also only works well (if at all) on the DSi, since it's a defined speaker, and not holes.

DSi sounds way better but you should really be playing any DS Lite game through earphones, makes a MASSIVE difference.

Definitely.  Whenever I'm not trying to make a talk box, I've always got my Bose headphones plugged in.  The games sound amazing.
