Post by: Nightstar699 on November 15, 2009, 01:59:27 pm
Hello everybody. a few weeks ago, someone asked for screenshots of Pao Ching Tien, as there is little info on it. So last night, when i was playing it, i decided to take some pics. (these pics were taken on my  cell phone, so bad quality)

all this page pictures are screenshots. i took the title screen, gameplay, options screen, the bosses, and the ending. there is obviously some stages i didn't take pics of. i just wanted to shine some light on this obscure gem, someday i'd like to write a full review of it. if you have any questions about it, or these pics. please let me know.

edit: i just found out this game is also called Bao Qing Tian!!

It looks interesting, what's the general premise?

Hmm... its in chinese so im not 100 percent, but i think your fighting against the forces of an evil emperor. i could be totally wrong though.  ::) i think the guy with the hat is some emperor. you never do fight him though, he just seems pissed throughout the whole game.

the gameplay is its like a platformer. you have 3 main attacks. sword swipe, sweeper kick, and high kick. i like the sweep, as it is quick. by pressing select, you can summon a friend to come on screen and damage enemies. there are multiple powerups that can be obtained. each world has 2 stages, and a boss. it can get tricky, but it aint too long a game. fun though. and good graphics.

Looks like a nice game.

And btw, "Pao Ching Tien" and "Bao Qing Tian" are just different types of transliteration in to Roman lettes from the Chinese characters. Pronunciation is the same.
