Hello, I wanted to know which is the rarest or most expensive game you have. Because Im a beginner I dont have rare games yet, but I suppose you do. Show pics people!!
Yes, also pirates. I began here hating pirates and now that I hear you talking about pirates, I got addicted, like a drug....mmmm pirates :o
WTF man, mickey mania 7????!!!!! and the other 6? pirate carts are seriously crazy shit
I never understood the "7" since there are only two other Mickey games for Famicom, right?
I'd say my rarest licensed games are gold Golf Japan and gold Golf US. I also have gold Punch-Out!! but that pops up more often than the gold disks. Non-prize games -- I'd say my rarest is Bubble Bobble 2, based on price.
My rarest pirate...hmm...that's hard to say because it's much more difficult to determine which pirates are actually rare. I'd say my Asder 20 in 1 is pretty hard to find. So is Idea-Tek's Puzzle and Earthworm Jim 3 and Pocahontas Part 2 and The Ancient and Modern Heros and some of the BIC/Camerica/Codemasters games I've got like Linus, Mig 29 or Stunt Kids.
Rarest pirate, would be a my Double Dragon multicart with the Double Dragon 2 Prototype game.
Good point. That one's pretty rare, too.
BTW: That Double Dragon proto multi is rare, no doubt, and one of the most unusual finds I've ever read about.
Oh, and I've got that All Night Nippon on cart which I've only seen once -- the copy I've got.

whats the point with the bubble bobble 2? why is so expensive and rare?
Doki Doki Panic cart? I don't really have any rare games.

Indeed, JC.
Its the only cart of my collection that worth something, other then my Pokemon 4in1 and Mario IV
I have absolutely no idea.... My collection is mostly pirates but I just have no clue.
I guess my Mario 4 in 1 or Megaman 6 in 1.
Licensed: My almost complete Splatterhouse (Missing the stickers)
Pirated: Probably my Sonic pirate or my Mario 7 in 1. I don't have any rare games really.
Which sonic do you have?
The label that was originally on it was a label of the SFC game "Wild Guns", and that label has been removed since then. I haven't attempted to make a proper one yet. When you turn on the game, it just says Sonic the Hedgehog. No numbers or stuff like that.
the most expenisive game i ever bought was Mother CIB almost mint, but the game is not that rare. I dont really own any "rare" famicom games.

Mine has a crude 5 on the title screen. What level do you start out in?
Not the Green Hill Zone..I can't think of the name of it though. It's the mechanical-ish one with the purple background.
Ah, that's the one mine starts at. Looks like you got an early version without the number...
Hmm, the 'rarest' ::) games I have are maybe Donkey Kong Country 4, King of Rabbits, Super Simpsons, Jurassic Boy, Flintstones 1 & 2 and the Mario hack version of Flintstones 1, Asder 20 in 1, and some FDS hacks and copy programs.
My rarest would have to be Pao Ching Tien. ;D

BB2 was a late release likely with limited production. I'd guess that's why you don't see it as often as other games and that's why it costs a little more than most games.

King of Rabbits [...] and some FDS hacks
I still need King of Rabbits and actually haven't ever seen it for sale. Also jealous of the FDS hacks you've found. (I might have some but still haven't every played a single one of my pirate disks, ugh.)
I don't know much about which pirates are rare or not... I have Somari
I'm got a bunch of multicarts too but who knows what they are called... Multicarts are all the same to me lol
Rarest piece in my collection.

:P
Thumbs up to the cat photo - though of course those paws she is standing on your collection with have also been in the litter box!! :D
That is a possibility... :(
You can tell that there are several games that use that engine -- Earthworm Jim 3 and DK4 for sure. I think Jungle Book 2 is just a basic hack of DK4. I've always suspected that Panda Prince is somehow connected to the same engine, but I've been told it's not by jbholio, so who knows.
Akumajou Denetesu CIB. I don't have any rare FC games.
Hm, besides Pao Ching Tien, maybe Chip n Dale 3... Does anyone else have it?
If Chip n Dale 3 is the Heavy Barrel hack, I have it. I didn't think it was very rare, though.
Pao Ching Tien, I once had the opportunity to own it for $15 shipped, awhile back I kind of wish I had taken the buy and gotten it.
Silly me.
I recently received a game called Super Gun. It's developed by NTDEC (aka Caltron/Mega Soft) and I couldn't find any info about the game on the Internet. It's an unlicensed shooter with ID# CN-12. Other rare games in my collection includes Pu Nu Jing Ling by Idea-Tek (ID# ET.04), Puzzle by Micro Genius (ID# MGC-007) and Miss Peach World by Hacker International. I also own hundreds of unlicensed famicom games but I'd say these are the most expensive / rarest ones in my collection.
What would you say it's worth? I don't deal much in autographs.
