Title: What is the 'DATACH JOINT ROM SYSTEM'?
Post by: LTEarle on February 21, 2010, 12:52:49 pm
Just looking at things I can buy for my Famicom and this keeps poping up.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FAMICOM-FC-DRAGONBALL-Z-DATACH-JOINT-ROM-SYSTEM-NEW_W0QQitemZ250581892207QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games_Games?hash=item3a57d83c6f

Can I have some general information about it.. Games for it, etc

It's a card reader. You hook it to the Famicom cart slot, pop a game into the Datach and scan the cards to do things in the game. I have one but I've never used it. It's got a few games for it but they tend to be higher priced because few sold, with the exception of the pack-in game.

Hmmm intresting. Looks intriguing says on wikipedia only 7 games were made for it. If anyone wants for info on it here is a link to the Detach wiki page:

I think I will buy one. Just to add to the collection.

Nice to add to a collection being boxed and all....whats it worth? Aside from the ebay auction pricing? ???
