I'm at work so I haven't heard it yet, but apparently the GameCube menu music, when sped up 25x, turns out to be the same as the FDS startup music.

In fact I needed more proof than that video to really believe it so I recorded the sound off my GameCube, sped it up in GoldWave and confirmed that it is indeed true! :o

Holy shit! I'm... wow! It could be considered subliminal because of the fashion in which it's hidden. A cameo would have to be more direct in order for it to be considered a cameo. I wonder what other semi-creepy-interesting stuff Nintendo has done just out of curiosity? Anyone care to check the Wii menu for something just for the sake of it? I love when people find stuff like this.
