If he can do this, for sure nobody tops him. Oh, and just look at his other Contra series runs.

Looks tool-assisted, but still fun to watch.
I dont get why everone thinks Contra is so tough. I did my first no-death run of it when I was 12. :-*
Contra??? How about the hack shown in the vid? Try no-deathing that one :P
Or at least beating it, even...
Lol it does look pretty intense :P
I don't get why people make these hacks in the first place.
I don't get why mgman is so obsessed with Contra. :P This is a pretty cool hack though.
Oh, because I'm a super hardcore fan. Like one of those crazed fans who can't get over it, perhaps?
Or maybe that the fanbase is so low for the series entirely that I'm inclined to have more... fanliness?

New content, I guess? Besides, the new challenge is definitely worth it... if not, I think this practice would have died a long time ago...
I see what you're saying. I, however, think that first stage is too long & repetitive. It could've been shortened significantly, & I don't believe longer is better.
I got bored watching that less than halfway through - I'm sure playing it isn't any different.

That's what... she said? ::)
Well the creator admitted that it was indeed rather long. But he didn't intend it to be all level hack.
@122MHz, yeah maybe if she's a conservative, highly religious nun?
The game is repetitive why would people want to want it more longer than the original?
I don't think most people feel that's a problem, so that kind of invalidates the question...
Damn watching that felt like a long car ride
I own the cart, but I trained myself on NesterDC back when Dreamcast was popular. Every time I died, I would load a saved state to the beginning of the level. Once I got to a boss, I would revert to the beginning of the boss fight if I died. After playing this way a few times, I didn't need "the code" anymore on Contra or Super C.
I guess a Game Genie code for 1 life, unlimited continues would have a similar effect :)
Seem's he got hit, but didn't die
