So I have read online about this game and most people say it is good for mindless beat'em up fun.
However I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Is this a really rare game?
No. I got mine CIB for $29.99. You can get it loose on RisingStuff for like $8 I think.
Hmm. I can't find it anywhere. Guess I have to keep checking places.

Welp. Thanks for that. Definitely wasn't spelling it right in my searches.
:-\
No, you probably were. JGS isn't using the common romanization. In cases like this, it's easier to search for "joy" and then look for it in the search results.
Well thats good to keep in mind then for the next random game I am looking for ;D
Thanks again.
JGS has a pretty good selection for Famicom needs.
But RisingStuff prices are better, except JGS has what RS doesn't.

Ya for sure. RS seems to have lower shipping and the loose carts are cheaper.
RisingStuff also has MUCH better customer service in my experience.
Joy Mecha Fight is probably the best fighting game for the Famicom, but that's not saying much. 8-bit systems just don't the ability to make fighting games any good. This applies not just to the NES/Famicom, but Gameboy Master System Commodore Atari whatever.
Ya I think the main reason I was trying to hunt it down was
A) Its developed by Nintendo
B) It is one of their more obscure titles I would like to check out.
I think I bought the last copy RS had of Joy Mech Fight (at any rate, they're sold out of it and I know they had one awhile ago). It's probably better to go join the forums and request that they restock the game, and then just have patience. It'll be a lot cheaper at least. But Joy Mech Fight isn't that rare, in fact I just saw an auction for it CIB recently on Ebay. It definitely pops up from time to time and is one of the more well-known Japan-exclusives.
Ah that sounds like a plan. Didn't know you could request for stuff.
What did you search for when you saw it on ebay?
I think I was just searching for Famicom games but it said "Joy Mech Fight" in the title of the auction.
Good to know. Considering romanization can differ a bit depending on who it is.
