Quote from: EdgeSony will release a new God Of War title for PSP later this year.
God Of War: Ghost Of Sparta is currently in development at God Of War: Chains Of Olympus developer Ready At Dawn.
Sony said that the game will push "PSP to the limits with state-of-the-art visual technologies, higher quality environments and greater depth of scale which really help deliver on those huge crazy boss fights". An improved weapon system and new magical powers were also promised.
"Serving as a prequel, this new journey picks up after God Of War concludes, telling the story of Kratos' ascension to power as the God of War," the platform holder said. "In his quest to rid the nightmares that haunt him, Kratos must face his dark past to prove his worthiness to the Gods - a journey that will reveal the origins of lost worlds, and finally answer long-awaited questions about Kratos' tattoo, scar, and family."

Well, I didn't expect that Sony would bet on PSP again.
This will be sweet when comes out, hope it'll work on 5.50 GEN-D3, I'll try before buying it really.
Wow PSP still lives ? How is this possible? I'm waiting for the handheld to die so I can buy their games for mad cheap once gamestop clears them off. I still see Gamestop trying to get rid of their PSP movies....
Yeah, I'd say the UMD movies are pretty dead, but the PSP itself is still going pretty strong.

Strong? PSP has been dead for months.
During these months only bull-crap games came out which no one cared about.
Yeah FamicomFreak, but just a little longer and PSP will die eventually, I really don't see Sony betting on PSP 1 or 2 more years. They're better off releasing a new PSP, NOT A NEW MODEL A NEW PSP which won't be hackable.
The last proper Dragon Ball Z for PSP came out in 2005/06 and now Bandai will release a new Dragon Ball for PSP.
UMD Movies have great quality, I watched Ong Bak the full UMD Movie completely and it was awesome but the screen size is too small for me. PSP is better for gaming.
Btw, PSP can be connected to a TV/Monitor yes but the quality won't be any good, only stretched.
PSP resolutions for TV's:
480x272 - gaming
720x480 - videos
At least it's enjoyable with videos with a standard resolution.
My PSP 1000 should arrive tomorrow hopefully. ^_^ (Sold my PSP Slim, 1000 suits me better)
