Title: PSP 2 possibly at Sony's E3

I sure hope it's better than the first PSP, and don't want to see various models of the same thing.

What I'm expecting after it's released: Teams to work on a CFW for PSP 2! ;D

Most of the games are expensive and not worth the price they ask for, for some reason it's PlayStation Portable and they should not charge so much, make the prices like from iPhone games (a.k.a: low prices).

And I just got my first PSP, too.

Not worth getting a PSP 2. I'm fine with my PSP Slim having custom firmware on it.

Gosh, I hope it's backwards compatible so I can play the five good games for the first PSP!

I don't think the world is quite ready for a handheld system with digital media only, and I think Sony's really shooting themselves in the foot with this approach.

The problem with the PSP is that it's too expensive already. With newer hardware, I'm sure the price will be even higher, maybe $299 even. $299, in case you forgot, is the price of the PS3.

PS3 or PSP2. Hmmm....which is the better deal...

All this said, here's what I want for the PSP 2:

-Some way of protecting the screen when not in use, preferably some sort of clamshell design or at least a hard plastic cover or something.

-A second analog nub, possibly L2/R2 buttons. The second nub is needed far more though. Without it, certain types of games are very difficult to do, as the PSP (and DS) has proven.

-Some format of physical media, but not UMD or anything optical based. Maybe something along the lines of the DS; small, flash-based cards that have a larger capacity. Digital is fine too, but BOTH should be avalible. If not, as soon as CFW hits the PSP2 will be full of piracy just like the current PSP platforms.

-Price. Sony MUST lower the cost to something reasonable. Even at $250, I'm not sure I'd buy a PSP 2. I sure as hell won't buy a Go. My 2000 is fine.

Thanks to CFW, Sony was able to make loads of profit, but however, the companies that produced the games were the ones who were hurt in all this. As the gamers did not buy their games and just downloaded them "free".

I'm hoping that GEN releases 5.50 GEN-D4 to by pass the new games and be able to play them, or a new cfw like 6.10 GEN-A public release.

Clearly digital games only is a very bad idea for Sony. Even with new security, exploits will be found and systems will be cracked.

I feel Sony has to do some sort of physical media if they want to curb piracy. UMDs are a pain, but I like owning Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles, Megaman Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X. Having them on the shelf is a lot more satisfying if I'm going to pay money for them.

I think its more acceptable in a lot of people's minds to pirate digital games. Spend money or just download it. Either way, the result is the same. You have nothing really to show for your effort.
