Post by: linkzpikachu on May 30, 2010, 11:13:59 am
i got an atari 2600 vader and when i turn it on i get nothing, im thinking it is the switch box because i tried it with my colecovision and it did the same thing and i know the coleco works.

Bypass the switch box entirely with an RCA to F(coax) adapter:

If you go over to www.atariage.com (http://www.atariage.com) there is a forum button you can post questions at and the whole website has a lot of info on the 2600.

i got a tele games 2600 model vadar. n it seems buggy to put it simple. when i turn it on it sometimes looks glitchy n the screen jumps like if the cart were dusty in an nes. n in an endless loop of garbled intro sounds of say q-bert. n then the longer it's on the more quicker it gets. just got a new power cord for my other 2600 which works fine. tested the same controller, power cord n rf unit on both to test this out. anyone know what might be the matter?

thanks.
