Well I got engaged over the xmas/new years break! We've been together for over 6 years now so it doesn't feel very different, but at least now it's official! :D

I had a big thing planned to ask her christmas day since the ring I gave her is a family heirloom, but she decided to go to her family's for xmas! Her parents even tried their hardest to get her to come with me to ny to spend the holiday with my family and it didnt work. With that plan totally blown I had to wait till I got home. She loves, absolutely LOVES our dog, so I tied it around his neck in the other roomand said, "hey theres something stuck to his neck?". He went running in to her and she kind of panicked but when she saw the ring she started crying tears of joy hysterically. It was nice :)
