I saw this on another forum I go to. Apparently some indie game company bought the rights to the Cheetahmen franchise for who knows what reason.
If anyone has heard this and knows where links are, please post them. I'll post the links if no one else does when I can get on a PC tomorrow...
looks like it might just be a hoax but there is even paperwork for it. Feel free to discuss
This is the forum, no?

Sure looks like a busy forum! I bet they'll spend two hours making the first level in Game Maker then scrap the project.
Negativity aside, the best of luck to them. Turning a pile of shit known as cheetahmen into something good is a huge challenge.
I have to see this! ::)
Wondering why they'd want that franchise? Yeah though, that's the site I was shown.
I think the general idea is It can't get any worse.
Here's a page containing everything there is to know about the infamous Active Enterprises.

Wow, nice page! :)
I'll be spending the next few hours reading the entire site.
I hope this game is made. I love the concept. It would be hilarious if it turned out to be good and then was popular and promoted interested in casual players of the previous games.
Why one earth would you pick cheetahmen? I played it once, and that is one too many times to play it.
If this is actually released, it will be a day one purchase for me.
Me too. Whenever I think about this the first thing that comes to my mind however, is that this'll probably be like one of those WiiWare "sequels" to a popular game; like Adventure Island: The Beginning or the Bonk's Adventure one. And those are just crappy, generic sidescrollers with big names slapped on them and mediocre graphics. I could be wrong though, and hopefully I am.
