Title: Tetris, alternative music question...
Post by: jackhandy566 on June 25, 2010, 04:47:37 pm
i read somewhere on here someone wanting a Tetris i believe for Gameboy but a specific one that has alt music track on it. rare or uncommon i took in after reading the info.

i just got three tetris carts among others doing some diggin today. can someone verify what the label looks like or a specific manufacture number on it on the label to have a telling sign i or someone would have this without playing this.  if say i was in a store n couldn't test it out before making a purchase.

thanks.

I'm still very interested in obtaining a copy of this myself. It appears to be first edition, with an estimated 10,000 or less made. I don't know the cart label variation that determines the contents.

Cool.  Reminds me of Little Nemo for some reason.

I wonder if the Nintendo World Store in New York City has that version in the burned Game Boy? There's no way of knowing.

Brightness....burns....eyes....

Are you sure that's not a pirate copy, I believe the alternative music copy did not have a different cover.

Turns out through relaying of message (I will skip the details to save someone's business) that this is not the version with the alternate song. So the hunt is still on  :diskkun:

I don't know (I think) but Tetris DLC game for PS3 is really good, not only it has new game levels, songs but it also allows to play custom soundtracks (simply go to XMB Menu and choose the song).

This should be allowed on every game, but it's rather a limited feature, unlike on 360.

DLC (Download-able content. Why everything is accronmised today is just ridiculous, but Downloadable is one word... hyphenated at best... whatever.  :upsetroll:)

So, carts stamped with 023 on them are not necessarily going to be version 1.0, or the initial version as some call it. The history behind this version is still interesting and is covered almost nowhere. :diskkun:

I wrote DLC 'cause everyone knows what it is.

I'm against buying digital format, but maybe I'll buy this Tetris game for PS3, it's really good. Allowing to listen to custom music, even better (like on 360)! :D
