For me, the series ended (& began) with Star Fox 64 (I later decided to play Star Fox & 2), & I noticed that the Japanese soundtrack listed Fichina instead of Fortuna - I thought maybe this was their name for it.
My little brother just checked out Star Fox Assault from the library, & the first mission was Fortuna, yet another mission was on Fichina, a planet that was snow cold like in Star Fox 64.
So can someone enlighten me, why this is?
I've only seen it as Fichina. I've never seen Fortuna anywhere.
I've seen it as fortuna everywhere actually, i never heard of Fichina. I'm guessing that Fichina is how they Romanized the word, but I don't know anything about the Japanese language.
Fortuna would be fo-too-na.
Fortuna/Fichina on SF64 was nothing like Fortuna on the SNES... & Fortuna on SF Assault matches the Fortuna on the SNES while Fichina on Assault matches Fortuna/Fichina on SF64.
So if we just changed Fortuna to Fichina on the 64, everything would be hunky dory.
I'm going to do some research...
Edit: Yep! FORTUNA was a translation error on the N64 version; it's supposed to be FICHINA.
