You'll probably be unable to find one unfortunately, but it's not all bad. Rather than pray and hope someone will have one, why not pick up and use a generic AC adapter or one from a Genesis model 1? The outputs you need are 9v DC with center pin negative like this: + ----C---- -

This is a very very common ac adapter you can find from any number of electrical devices.

I've tried the genesis model 1 adapter and my famicom got hot  to the point where the cartridge and the pin connectors on the inside were hot to the touch. I found a universal adapter that does 9v DC but i'm afraid of the mA if its pulling too much or not

Turlough:
Just buy a "universal AC/DC adapter", but invest a little, buy something like this:

NOT THIS:

-these are only for showing you the different look of a quality one and a cheap chinese exploding one. Go to a local electronics shop and ask for the highest quality, range for example from 3V - 15V, amperage 1000 - 1500mA. The higher quality means also less distortion and/or power dropdown when connected to a electronic device. The distortion also causes the screen distortion, and you don't want to look at a distorted mario just because you didn't wanted to pay a little more for the adapter. One small hint - the bigger/heavier - the better! My adapter is looking like a laptop adapter...big and heavy :)

If you buy it don't forget the correct setting:
Set it to something close to 10V
Center must be negative + ---- C----- -  so don't make a mistake or you blow the famicom.
(I read you have been using an universal one so you know of this, but I am writing this for other members also)

I am sure that those will work on your famicom because they are 9v but they are from pirated consoles....
I already sold one and it works on another famiclone ( the one with the keyboard ) but i am sure that you will find something else :)

1 DO NOT, WHATEVER YOU DO, use a NES adapter.
2 Super Famicom (snes????) adapters work.
3 I have an adapter behind my TV that is supposedly a NES/SNES/Genesis1 plug. A Genesis 1 AC Adpt. should work.
4 All you need is an adaptor that gives about 9-10V DC (Not AC)
5 Check amazon or ebay or a game store  for a Gensis 1 AC.

Hope that helps!
