Title: Questions about Disk system
Post by: mycatisbigfoot on January 17, 2011, 04:29:57 am
Yes ok I posted last year and sounded like a complete dumb @$$, so well I well I am know sereous about buying a famicom (there I got it right) and I also am going to buy a disk system to go along with it. But the most concering thing for me is the disks not working. So i need to know what I need and how to rewrite disks from a computer, Personly I have a few computer as I would gusess I need an older system, I have a dos box (6.22+win3.11) and I have a 98se tower and a windows 2000tower, I ton of newer macs (g3's) and my current tower and its running windows 7

So how would I hook the disk drive up to the computer with little hassles, and buy a pree-made cable to do so. also Do you think I could make a cheap buck on rewriting disks for people?

So what Im asking is
-How to hook up the disk system to my computer
-What do I need besides a cable and the computer and the disk system
-What Kind of computer do I need
-what do I use on said computer

thanks :P I know I probably sound quite annoying and im densely sorry if I do

I'm building a website that will be live in a couple weeks that will show how to do this. Just so you know, there is very little interest from people wanting someone to rewrite disks, so it will be something that you'll most likely just be doing for yourself.

Well I can not bulid said cable, so I would like to buy one and personly I would like to buy a disk system that will work with the cable, (like the chip mod done if it needs it) I would gladly buy a second disk drive for just rewriting disks if I had my way
