Title: 3DS's coming very soon to the US
Post by: FamicomRetroGamer on January 19, 2011, 11:54:35 am
It'll be out on the 27th of March of 2011, and its price is going to be 250$.

It isn't expensive but I still have yet to see games that are worth buying the system for.

That's why exclusives exist. ;D

By the way, 3DS is going to also be region locked like the home consoles, what a bummer!

Been holding out on the Dsi for this bad boy. I'm pretty excited for the new Animal crossing. Haven't played it since the DS Fat version was released!

I'm in no hurry to get a Virtual Boy I mean 3DS.

I wonder what destroys eyes better? The 3DS or battling seizure robots?

I jumped on an Amazon Preorder though I'm not yet decided whether I'll pick it up right away or later, after a price drop and a better game library (And maybe the expected 2nd revision)

I would have pre-ordered already but there's not a red one yet :/

There'll probably be a 2nd/thinner version of 3DS, might, might not.

Red? I saw a red DSi and disliked it very much because of its colour, almost all my consoles are black except Dreamcast and NES which are white.

Black looks cooler on consoles imo.

A black limited edition Dreamcast exists.  If you like black consoles, it'd be a cool thing to add to your list of wants.

Well, that's your opinion. I simply stated that I didn't pre-order the 3DS because there wasn't a red one that was available yet. I already have a black DSLite and a Blue DSi; I wanted a red one. Why are you talking about the colors of consoles for the Dreamcast and the NES? Didn't you create this thread for the Nintendo 3DS, which is a portable hand-held gaming system?

He's just stating his love for black consoles and listing an example to go with it. I myself prefer black as well.

I prefer my consoles in white, blue or green tones.
I only get black when there's no other choice.  :mspacman: :diskkun:

Bear in mind that the balck is not flat gloss black, it's a metallic, gunmetal black with a gradient on the top of the case, it looks lovely.

The more I look at the colors, the more intrigued I become. I didn't realize how vibrant and stylish the patterns were. Now, I'm torn between the two  ;D
