Title: Xbox 360 HD-DVD pricey?
Post by: FamicomRetroGamer on January 27, 2011, 07:12:19 pm
Been to youtube eBay and saw that the thing isn't quite cheap as it used to be, why's that? Was it produced in limited quantities?

Nonetheless, HD-DVD's are great for collection purposes.

Also, Xbox 360 HD-DVD Player can be used on a PC/Laptop/etc to read CD/DVD/HD-DVD's.

You can make a really annoying laser out of the diode inside, but that's the only reason I can think of.

I thought those went out of production when it was clear that Blu-Ray won the format war, no?

I thought the same too. Blue-Rays are still way too pricey. I wonder how long the DVD medium will linger around for... maybe another five or so years?
