Title: VS Super Mario Bros. NES
Post by: MarioMania on April 08, 2011, 04:35:18 pm
I'm trying to mimic VS Super Mario Bros. Level by Level on the Super Mario Bros. (W) Rom using SMB Utlility International..There's a Problem doing that - - Like extra pits & walls in VSSMB I can't copy.. - Is there any other program to add the pits & walls in my version of VSSMB NES version

Like World 6-3 ..I modded it to look like World 4-3 of SMB2J, but the lifts got messed up ..
Is there a SMB Utlility for SMB2J Loopys Mapper Hack??

If you're modifying the original SMB, there's only so much you can do given it's lack of mapper and small amount of storage.

why not buy the one from retrozone and cross your fingers that you'll get the version I did with the creepy hidden message?

Or just play the Vs. SMB rom through an emulator or the PowerPak.

That screen totally looks like something the romhacker would put in to prevent people from making a physical rom & selling it. (http://www.websitegoodies.com/smilies/happy0195.gif)

haha I thought so too.

I discovered it early when I was going to review the game. here's my review

and here's my notice of this oddity with my early run copy.
