Title: WTB: Famicom RF switch box
Post by: AndrewSi on April 08, 2011, 08:16:43 pm
Looking for a Complete white RF switch box in good condition, complete and not faded/yellowed. Not looking to pay much, so I am looking for cheap or even free!  ;D

Let me know, send me a PM if you like. Thanks!  :diskkun:

Don't know if you know this, but if you want this just so you can play your Famicom, you can use an NES RF adapter instead.  You just can't use the NES's AC adapter.

9/10 boxed FC systems are missing all of the above. Many don't have original PSUs either, and I'm talking about boxed systems on YAJ.

I can also tell you that my cost on the original switchbox, in any condition, is around 2,500 Yen, plus importation and postage fees. Getting a white one, 'cheap or free' is asking a lot.  :bomb:

I agree with what Xious said.  Plus, perfect white ones aren't super easy to come across.

However, i'm in Japan and i could try and get one for you if you are interested?

A good way to get goodies for free is being around the forum and contribute a lot. I gave one member of the board an RF switch for free for example, but he also contributes a lot, is a totally nice guy and bought many games from me.  ;)

I can give you an RF switch for free but it wont be from a famicom...just 2$ for the shipping  :)

I guess I really under estimated the rarity and going rate for an rf box. $30 plus shipping  :blinky:

Thanks for the replies and putting me in my spot. :)

I essentially import them to sell with boxed systems when people want complete ones. I have a few nice ones, and a couple with toning that I can cure.
