Hi Everyone,
I have for sale some Chinese mass software cartridges. What's unique about these cartridges is that each one comes with 245 games that range from the classics to even modern titles - all with little to no repeats. I say little because I naturally can't check every game, but the ones I did check were all original. Containing literally all the classic titles, this card even contains recent games as well! For example: "Secret Castle" is really "Milons Secret Castle", "Batman 1" is really "Sunsoft's Batman". Simply put, this is one of the best multi-cartridges I've ever come across and you'll never need another one again.
Mass Software Cartridge (245 in 1, comes in regular or purple colour box art.) - $14.99 each.

GENERAL CAUTION: All stock was purchased directly from store(s) or suppliers as new. However, we are talking China (Black/Gray market) new. That means each unit was probably assembled in part by hand and imperfections or defects on the box and/or product should be expected. In many cases this just means a slightly torn box or wrapping, but could range to more serious cosmetic defects. In order to stand on the side of caution, I'm also going to mention that it seems these items are not compatible with official Famicom hardware without a modification being performed. As such, we can't warranty or guarantee anything in regards to that effect as the risk is up to the buyer. Unfortunately, due to the nature of these items, they must be sold AS-IS.
Payment can be made by PayPal.
Thanks!
How many more of these do you have buddy? I think I'd buy another, depending on shipping...
Wow - is Turtles Fighters Tournament Fighters? I see some late release titles in there, assuming Spiderman is Sinister 6.
And Milk Nuts. :P

Yes, "Turtle Fighters" is "TMNT: Tournament Fighters", and "Spider Man" is "Spider Man: Return of the Sinister 6". Some other interesting ones: "Final Fight 2" is "Terminator 2: Judgement Day", "Mighty Final Fight" really is "Mighty Final Fight" and "Ninja Gaiden: 2" really is "Ninja Gaiden: 2"
I know most people's natural response to multi-cartridges is to never get your hopes up when you see large amounts of games, or fishy titles (Usually a sign of hacks), but like I mentioned before this card delivers. I've never seen a better one available, and in fact, I own several of these cards personally so I can take them around places. Quite simply, it's the last multi-cartridge I'll probably ever need outside of an expensive flash card.

I only have a limited quantity, but enough to satisfy everyone who inquires about it in a timely fashion. Shipping costs will depend on your location. I can't see it being too expensive, but I'll have to calculate to be sure.
UPDATE: I still have a few of these remaining. Grab them while you can! (^_^);
Although this may be a really cool collection of games, be warned that it may not actually work in a real Famicom. It'd be nice if you included something like this whenever you make a thread. This does look pretty nice though, and if I didn't already have a Powerpak, I may have tried my luck with this.

Hrm... I guess I could do that for every item I sell. However given the mass amounts of pirate cartridges being sold here without such a disclaimer, I would think that compatibility with non-Nintendo software/hardware is a pretty well understood risk. Certainly not just limited to my items anyway, especially if your talking about old unlicensed cartridges.
However given the shear volume of items I do sell, I will admit that I generate more topics regarding product issues than other people around here. But to be fair, I don't believe given the amount of items I sell, that percentage is disproportionate to anyone else. I just get noticed more because I sell that much more goods at any one time. After all, most people create topics when they have issues, not when everything turns out great (usually :D).
But in any case, I think most people who've delt with me would concede, even in extreme cases where I would not be obligated to intervene, I go out of my way to make people happy (Even at a loss).
Well yeah, but generally, it's only these boxed Chinese pirate originals/RPGs that I've ever seen any complaints about them not working on authentic hardware. I've bought several pirates from several different people on FW, and they've all worked on my Famicom. It's your stuff, so you may do whatever you please. Just thought I might give you an idea. :) Cheers!
@Nintendodork: Valid points for sure, though this isn't a Waixing product/RPG (^_^). It's actually made by Coolboy. I do far too many transactions to recall with any reliable accuracy, but weren't you the one who purchased Pokemon and had compatibility problems with it on a real Famicom? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I extended a refund for it if you were unhappy. I think you decided to keep it since compatibility isn't a real defect and that you'd like it anyway. But for what it's worth, if for some reason you were unhappy and/or still are unhappy about it, my extended offer for a refund is still on the table. As I mention to people, customer happiness is really my biggest priority. But in any event, I'll try to clarify in the future if I can remember to do so. :)
Wow nice cart I definitely could go for it!
I'd like one, but can you (or anybody) confirm that this works on real FC systems, and not only on clones? :bomb:
With all due respect, I think the compatibility issue is being blown out of proportion. Out of literally 100s of cartridges I've sold for various titles, I'd say I only had about 2-5 people with any real issues with compatibility problems. Unless your using these games on a system with a lockout chip, system with old/dirty/faulty connectors, the odds of you having a problem will be slim.
But that's my humble opinion.
I have one of these but have not tested it. Maybe I'll get a chance to later today. It's without a doubt the best multicart out there.
*sigh* Another famicom cartridge I won't be able to play for a long time. A warning to all: Never purchase this. (http://famicomworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/game_converter_gray2.jpg) It's trash.
Otherwise, I'm 100% sure this cartridge works and am very happy with the purchase. Thanks Trenton! :)

Ah, that looks like a real crummy converter. (^_^); I'm partial to using a Honey Bee one myself, but I'm sure stealing one from a Gyromite cartridge works just as well.
Got the silly thing to work on my SuperJoy III.
I only tried a handful of games so far, but I'm most impressed with the SMB1 Giabbit hack!
May I ask what the hell Giabbit is?
If you're wondering what the game is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nzq9NaOXU0U
If your wondering what GIABBIT is, then it appears to be a baseball mascot for the Giants.
I have that Hanshin Tigers Giabbit SMB game on FDS (game doctor required) disk. I think it's a confusing, pain in the ass, hack.
I'd just rather be safe than sorry, especially with anthing exotic. If it's confirmed working, I'd buy two: One to put away untouched, and the other for occasional use. It probably does work perfectly fine, but it;d be nice to have anybody test it on genuine Famicom HW before I order any... :pacman:
Regarding 'SMB Giabbit Hunting': The game is absurdly difficult, but it doesn't really give you any excuse to stop playing as it's extremely liberal with extra lives. I have a cartridge of it, and have tried it a few times, but it's very easy to get lost (as it uses multiple exits) and I never made it out of the first world. It's just flat-out, too bloody hard! The game is by the same guy who did the 'Kamikaze Mario' and 'Luigi's Ghost House' hacks, if anybody has tried those... I have his entire collection, and I've yet to play through any of them to conclusion. I do rather fancy the baseball theme though... :bomb:
Yo! Long time no see. Glad people are still up to their old tricks. My friend bought one of these carts of Trenton a long while ago when he had a few. He has a legit Fami as well as other systems and I've heard no complaints from him. I'm actually considering buying his copy because he needs the money bad LOL. But he's still considering it, since it's like his best multi.
But seriously dude, what are you waiting for? If your into collecting pirates and multis, it's like the best one you can get. Plus, Trent's stuff is all brand new and boxed and crap. Most pirates and multi's are dirty and don't even come complete. If not for my friend, I'd probably get one before they go out of stock and back into obscurity. :-\
I've ordered one, I can get back with reports when it arrives on both my AV Famicom and Retro Duo.
UPDATE: Still quantity available!
I'd be interested if I didn't already have a mass storage cart with 111in1 (111 different games, no repeats.) But good luck selling the last few you have.
I'm going to pick this up next week ^_^
I'd get this if I had the money for it :upsetroll:

Good choice. This cartridge is great if you don't have a PowerPak
Grr... My friend decided to keep his copy, so I'm going to have to fight for a copy next week as well. :D Seems like everyone is waiting for a pay day. I guess I could skip a few meals and get one now, but i figure unless everyone is a jerk and orders 2 copies (1 for use, one for safe keeping) I should be ok. ;D j/k
Hrm... Are there any other hacks on this card other than Giabbit? Or was Giabbit considered unique enough from Super Mario Bros to be included anyway? It would be interesting if someone did a review of the games in this card. I'd volunteer myself since it seems to have lots of interesting items on it, unfortunately real-life is pretty busy for me.
From what I noticed:
Hassle is a Front Line hack
Tunny is a hack of Sonson
Cardcaptors is a homebrew hack of Tower of Druaga
Aladdin III is most likely a hack of Magic Carpet 1001, which is unlicensed to begin with
Orchard Kavass is probably a hack of Macross
I also notice that some games were omitted from the list for some crazy reason.
BTW, I'd like to know what "FMG Pirate" is. :)

Hmm... I could give it a go. I suck at commentaries, but I might be able to just play the games and record them. Is that something you'd be looking for?
Nah. I'm sure people would appreciate it, but I was thinking much more simpler. Something like what Cheetahmen was mentioning, provided it's confirmed and not speculative (ie. not just looking at the game list names and assuming).
EDIT: I think the games list is out of order compared to how it's sorted on the cart, but it should be all there (245 games).

From what I know, FMG is a company that pirated games in the 90s. There are a lot of FDS games that are cart to disk ports created by them.

I'm aware of that, I'm just wondering what the game itself is.

why might this cart not work in the famicom? I was wanting to purchase this cart, but if it doesnt work in a famicom....? Can I use a converter to play this cart on my top loader nes in america?
Yeesh. People are just letting FUD and speculation take over. So far no one has said anything about Trent's carts and he's probably sold loads. The only person who had any problems was MS-DOS4 and he admits it was likely his converter causing the issue as without it it works fine. Yo Trent, how many do you have left?
@Chris Leach: Hrm... Well, I've sold many of these recently, as well as previously, and I've had zero legit problems from people. That is, once people eliminate cheap clones, converters, etc, everything works just perfect. If you do have a problem, it will probably be a defective cart (Rare since we test all carts before shipping and pack fairly well). In such case, just send it back and I'll replace it for you. (^_^);
@Macmoose: I don't know off hand, but probably a few left. I suspect that if people who are sitting on the fence (worried about defects and such) went and got what they were wanting, there would be little to non left in stock.
UPDATE: About 5-7 or so left. I made sure to pick up a lot of these since people seemed interested in it.

Be aware - Cart DOES NOT WORK on Sharp Twin Famicom..
This is actually perhaps the first genuine incompatibility issue that's been reported with this cartridge (barring the very slim chance it was damaged during shipping). Given all the compatibility talk, I would like to mention that the main post has already been updated with a blurb mentioning the question of compatibility (to err on the side of caution) as recommended.
@Actraiser: Thanks for the notice. Just as a reminder (given your initial concerns), as I mentioned before purchase as well as after purchase, if the cartridge does not work on your machine you can simply return the game for a full refund should you not wish to keep it.
Please put me down for one and P.M me with an invoice (with P&P).
I'll also do a full compatibility test across a range of systems and report my findings.
If you can put aside an extra one for me as well, pending my investigation, I'd appreciate it. If it works on a normal FC, there is no reason it shouldn't work on a Sharp Twin, so it'll be good to test it out.
For the record, several Chinese games (from different sources) that I own do not work on legit hardware, which is why I'm concerned... Otherwise, I'd've ordered two right from the gate.
I'm also willng to document all the games on it, as I've done in the past. :bomb:
I've done some testing now, and I cannot get it to work on my AV Famicom, all graphics show up garbled. It does work perfectly on my Retro Duo, though.
So essentially its garbled on AV Famicom and also Twin Famicom but works on clones. So does it work on a original Famicom?

If it doesn't work on an AV Famicom, then I really doubt it.
@Cheetahmen - I hate when games only work on clones. Very upsetting.

Same here. My copy of The General's Son has the same problem. :(
Famiclone technology works, but is terribly inaccurate in many ways. I suspect that in trying to cram an obscene amount of games into one card, that they probably made hacks specifically to Famiclone hardware. It might only be present in the Menu loader and not the actual games, but it kind of sucks not knowing what game you pick. (^_^);
If they only work on famiclones, then they aren't technically "famicom" games, are they ;)

Just to clarify - what's the sale price? How much was it originally?
Hey,
I think originally I had it at $39.99 or something depending on if you purchased one with a Famiclone keyboard or not. And yes, you need to pay for one to get one. I won't pay anyone to send these to you. :-)
if more of these become available i would be interested in getting one, providing I can get it to run on a nes with fc converter. reguardless of if the menuworks or not

I'm not sure if that would work; I have a copy and the graphics are completely screwed up on my Famicom. :( As far as I can tell, you need a Famiclone for it to work properly.

Yep. These things were developed for Famiclone technology. I guess regular Famicom compatibility fell to the wayside on the developers backlog. (^_^);
But as to stock, yes I do have them still avaliable.
Cheers!

I was thinking of getting one of these (since my other multi is now dead), I've read through the topic and still not 100% sure...
Will this work on a U.S. Toploader w/ Gyromite adapter?
I wouldn't be able to buy one until about a week after the new year, so how much would they be after your sale?
I've already sent you payment and another e-mail. Please let me know If everything it's okay...
Hi,
money sent by paypal for he 2 cartridges.
@DDCecil: These should not work on regular Nintendo systems provided they are modded. Otherwise, these only run on clones.
EDIT: Apparently the mod does not work on these cards.
Got mine today! Anyone have the link to mod these to run on genuine Fami hardware? I lost it like an idiot

You're doing it wrong, really, IT DOES WORK :yoshi:
Waiting for the game...I hope play it in few days.
Mine arrived, excellent selection of games! The 20+ versions of Super Contra aren't incl in the overall total of games, a lot of fun. Mighty Final Fight so far the best surprise.
I'm glad you like it. Ya, the pirates I guess were trying to be honest with Contra I suppose.

Neat adapter. Too bad all the local stores these days sell off most of their retro gaming hardware and software.
How do I open the cartridge without destroying it in the process? I want to lift the leg to make it work with my normal Famicom.

Hi mate. I did PM you but no response: Hi mate. How are you? I have a PAL front loading NES, with Honeybee. Will the 245-in-1 game work on this? WOuld i need to get rid of the lockout chip? I don't have a heap of money to spend on it, but want my son to get into some old games. Do you have a games list, and how much including postage to Australia? I can paypal.
