I have seen those screens in the past, but lately I haven't encountered that problem.

The site was definitely having problems for a couple of hours today.

Budget hosts will have downtime every now and again.  There's not much I can do about it aside from moving to a more expensive host, which I haven't felt compelled to do yet.

I've shopped out other budget hosts, but all of their uptime guarantees are the same: "we'll pro-rate you, up to a certain percent of your monthly cost, for any downtime beyond our guarantee."  Given the nature of downtime, it's a totally useless guarantee.

well you can try
http://www.hosting24.com/
A friend of mine is hosing their site there and the uptime is great.
I am also using the free services of this hosting http://000webhost.com and they are pretty good to :) again i had no problems :)

Thanks for the suggestions, but I've read reviews for all kinds of budget hosts and I'm really quite convinced they're all the same.  I'm looking at cloud/clustered managed hosting options now.  Still trying to wrap my head around their pricing plans :coin:

Is it just me or everyone else is having problems with the site?

I have a problem, when I'm trying to send a PM I'm receiving that message :

The following error or errors occurred while posting this message:
Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message.

Moreover, I can't go "mark as read" and "logout" or anything else that revolves around session and stuff :

Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.

I'd like to add that I'm always logging off properly when I'm done visiting forums, I've already tried to clean all cache/cookies (using Opera browser) and whatever else is possible... but still nothing :'(

:help:

Not just you.  I'll investigate some time this weekend.  I upgraded to a newer version of PHP recently, so that might be causing the issue.

I rolled PHP back to the previous version.  Let me know if the problems have gone away.

I'm experiencing the exact same problems as MWK did, not sure why I'm having those problems while MWK isn't.

I haven't been able to recreate the issues since I rolled back PHP.  Have you tried clearing out cookies, browser cache, etc?

Clearing both my cache and cookies allowed me to send PMs but I still can't edit my posts or quote people.

Hmm...Have you tried accessing the forum using a different browser?  That would help me determine if it's a server issue or browser issue.
