http://www.ndscardsale.com/fc (http://www.ndscardsale.com/fc)
ndscardsale are selling cheap multicarts, they are a china e-shop like dealextreme
Do you guys find a interesting cart?
Maybe I will buy the Adventure island one ( http://www.ndscardsale.com/product/3-in-1-8-bit-home-game-cartridge-adventure-island-2-adventure-island-3-adventure-island-4-96337 )
This one should have the kunio games (http://www.ndscardsale.com/product/4-in-1-8-bit-home-game-cartridge-hero-fighter-hero-goal-3-dodge-ball-hero-story-96340 )
I placed an order for some cheap carts - let's see if this stuff actually turns up.
DO NOT place your credit card info into this site - Paypal is fine but do not use for credit card for Thai, Chinese or east asian websites.
Hong Kong is usually fine and Japan is secure, but mainland China especially will land you with unwanted 'orders'.
No racism, no judgement, just a polite warning to anyone not familiar with business in the region.
12 cheap famicom pirate carts for $4 or less...?
such a great buy if they show up and free shipping......
this is how pirates shoudl be sold...
(if they actually show up)
Bleh......nothing interesting, maybe that adventure island cart, but I already have all the games separate.
Hmmmm... What if you could choose your own selection? Would it be interesting then?
like a make your own multi-cart? Yeah, that could lead to some cool things...
Reviews for this site are all over the place. But for $2.89, I can't deny the temptation. Let's see what happens.
I ordered some, too. At least they let you pay with Paypal, so there may be some recourse if they never show up. Either way, the price was right, so I had to give it a try. :)
FUCK!!! i dont have paypal.....must let this one pass
tell me how it ends up
Volumerates (http://www.volumerates.com/cate/video-games-fc) has the exact same carts and famiclones cheaper... the multis are exactly 10% cheaper in fact. i kind of suspect NDSCardSale might just be dropshipping from Volumerates and marking everything up a bit (or at least they're both getting them from the same place)
Is volumerates a reputable place?
EDIT: Just bought from volumerates, hope they actually ship it, or else that was $2.63 of my hard earned money lost.
Not sure, I've never ordered from there before. I think they're somehow related to DX (they used to have a sister company called Volumerate which became Allbuy, but Volumerates spun off from that at some point, and the staff member Fernando who posts on Volumerates' forums used to work for the original Volumerate. something like that anyway. Chinese companies are confusing. its like the whole Dingoo Digital/Dingoo Technology mess)
I guess a cheap item like this would be a decent way to test them though.
Wondering if it's worth purchasing any of those Famiclones. Not gonna bother unless they're NTSC though, because it bugs me having to play games at 83.333% speed.
These multi-carts are nothing special. Literally a dime-a-dozen in China. Here are some carts I sold in bulk to someone a while ago:
NOTE: I didn't take pictures with the cartridge protectors on since they just take up space.
Wow, that's a lot of generic looking carts.
Isn't there a Rockman 1-6 multicart somewhere for like 3$? I'd totally buy that. :coin:
Same here - I have one but I'd buy a whole heck load more and make a NES cart out of it too.
Well Trenton, you could always hook us up!
I bought some with the free shipping to see how it goes. Of course, I won't actually be able to play them until I get back home :(

Hmmmm... What if you could choose your own selection? Would it be interesting then?
You can do this over at theNesdump.com.....joe can make them from your own selection, but they are in nes format?
Wait, he can make multicarts with games you choose?
@L___E___T: Heh, well if I see any Rockman 1-6 cart's I'll let you know. Currently I have GB Rockman carts in, but I just haven't had time to list them. It's basically a multi-cart with a bunch of Rockman games with some Rockman original games, and other stuff crammed together. Comes with box too (I got them to pack them flat)
@petik1: Probably not worth while to do. I'm not a big company so I don't get brakes on shipping. So any kind of deal to be had would be moot since shipping would eat most of that value away. Especially if your talking razor thin margins like that.

Also, if you have spent hundreds doing that, wouldn't it just be a cheaper and easier option to buy a PowerPak?

It seems like that site is down. I only get a generic looking page with lots of random links. :-\
it's www.thenesdump.com
You probably forgot to add "the" onto the URL.
Ah! That looks better!
Thanks ericj! :yoshi:
Thanks guys, gonna give this a check!
Anyone know what games are on the 29/45/115 in 1's or are they new on the market?
Post Merge: June 18, 2011, 02:59:50 pm
Just ordered two carts lets see how good they are :)
I hate to say it, but I'm willing to bet that those multicarts have about 6 games on them. Typically, you'll find that if a multicart advertises 6 games and says something like 9999999-in-1, you'll only get those 6 games. >:(
And those carts may die very easily, they are very cheaply produced, you have to expect that on such stuff.
I found a Rom that was a 115 in 1, and the menu was the same as another multicart I have that is the same shape as these. If its the cart I just purchased, I'm pretty damn happy. I'll post screenshots later.
Mine arrive this week too - I ordered a bunch of them as a test, so let's take a look ;)
so they actually arrived? thats pretty awesome
No, they arrive this week - meaning, they are due to arrive this week.
So, not yet - but I did get a dispatch note.
I see, im sure all of us would like to know when/if they get here
It took about 5-6 days to arrange and dispatch my order, so let´s wait about two weeks more to get my games
This is the sad part about buying on chinese shops, you must be very patient :gamer:
Got an email to say mine have been sent out :)
or Super Mario Party for $3
yes i got email too
Got my email. Let's see what happens.
Hey guys new stuff added ...
http://www.volumerates.com/cate/video-games-fc
Maybe they saw that a lot of people are buying cartridges so they added new to the list :)

I got my carts today!
verdicts? anyone?
Well I don't know about anyone else but the four carts I ordered are damaged. The menu starts up but when you start the game the graphics start to get all glitchy. I seen this happened to many of these glob style boards. I'm definitely not satisfied. Also, just for further info I tested them all in both a Famicom (Max Play) and Original Famicom. I hope that helps.
Either they were damaged during shipping or they are designed for Chinese Famiclone (more likely). This is something you have to expect at these prices and for that quality. Maybe it's ndscards that damaged them...
Yeah that's for sure. It was fun trying them out though, not much of an investment anyways.

It sucks...i can´t be able to play it on my famicom :'(
But well..isn´t seller´s fault, because they sell this for their famiclones.
Maybe i will be able to play them on a retroduo
What exactly makes a cartridge compatible with a famiclone, but not an official famicom?
Hell, I'll still buy more carts, just as you'd buy the same NES and Famicom games.
Might be worth opening a cart to see, mine should be here this week so will do that if no one else does.

thanks for the feedback, just passed the info to factory for this issue, but due to this is early morning in HK, so we haven't get an official report yet.
also the only problem is the graphics get glitchy? you tried for more times??
Yes multiple times on multiple consoles. I might even try it on a NES if I get a hold of one!

Attention to all with Adventure Island cartridges
So I have tested the cartridge with original NES with adapter well it looks VERRY glitchy
(http://img808.imageshack.us/img808/2403/dsc07118k.th.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/808/dsc07118k.jpg/)
But this is because of the mapper this cartridge is using!!! It is present only in famiclones ( i have many famiclone variations and it worked perfect on all of them)
(http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/5409/dsc07119v.th.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/585/dsc07119v.jpg/)

If you want i will post more in game screenshots later
So the 115in1 is a typical multi cartridge and there are no problems of it playing on original famicom or NES
(http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/1959/dsc07113m.th.jpg) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/707/dsc07113m.jpg/)

Can you back that statement? Is there really an extra memory controller that sits on the famiclone hardware (as opposed to sitting on the carts, where memory controllers typically are situated)?
More screenshots of 115 in 1 please tonev.
Just like I thought, the 115-in-1 is not the Supervision one but rather one of those shite ones that have >=8 1st gen Famicom games.

Yes, we will have to rely on the cover´s pic (if you look the cart, the 8 games are described)

Like I said a while back, if a label advertises 6 1st gen Famicom games, you'll typically find that those are the only games that are included.

@UglyJoe
There is no other possible explanation than this ;)
Why do you think it works on every famiclone i have and not on original NES with converter?
I have tested this cartridge on everything i got... keyboard clones , russian clones , china clones, and they all work fine :)
Hmm this gives me an idea! Going to try it on my pal Famiclone the Super Megason!
Got mine today although can't test as just waiting on my new toys ;D
Does anyone know what the spiderman 2 game is like?
If I remember correctly, it's a hack of Ninja Ryukenden III. Then again, it might just be Spider-Man: Return of the Sinister Six for all I know.
Cool :) i might give it a punt when i have a few shekels spare :gamer:

Hi, Just read your post for the Dingoo company mess. Well, that's somewhat really confusing.
But for Volumerates.com, yes, we are actually a super version of Volumerate.com. Also we are a trustworthy company for sure. There are many customers buying from us. So if you have doubt on us, why not place some test orders for those GBA carts to find out?
We are here to provide good product with good price to all customers, both individual customers or some wholesaler or resellers.
So hope all customers happy to shop at volumerates.com!
Just to let you know NEVER BUY from volumerate.com ( or no allbuy.com)
They are so stupid and their site is so cheap they can't even make their own images...
http://www.allbuy.com/product/replacement-housing-case-for-gba-gameboy-advanced-sp-12852
Here you can see the DX all over the image so this picture is taken right of dealextreme.com
And there you can buy that case for $4.30 with free shipping and on volumerate ( or allbuy ) you can buy it for 6.09...
so don't be confused BUY only from volumerateS.com they are the best :)

To be honest these websites are all the same. No matter where you go the saying still works: "You get what you pay for". The multi-carts they sell are just run of the mill pirates. Granted some might be sprite hacks, but for the most part your just getting 4-6 common games on a cart.
To be sure, there are way better cartridges out there but then again they cost more money. Probably goes against the business model.
薄利多销! (^_^);
But that's just my humble opinion.
I have to agree with Trenton_net.
Tonev, I think they're all the same company... different branch maybe.
Nevertheless :

WANT!
Yesterday (finally) I got two games ordered to volumerates. The adventure island one is glitchy on my Twin Famicom too , so don´t buy it unless you are going to play it on a clone.
The second game i got is a 4 in 1 and they played without glitches , the games are:
Batman 2 (Sunsoft´s batman)
Turtle 1 (Japanese version of Konami´s first TMNT game)
Turtle 4 (TMNT Tournament fighters)
Spiderman 2 (an awful hack of ninja gaiden 3).
The plastic used on the cartridges is very weak, so use them with care :D
THanks for the info Strider_Hiryu.
I kind of wanted the Adventure Island cart, but I had doubts and you conformed them. :bomb: I only play stuff on my Twin Famicom and I don't like glitchy games. :-\
wow! thats amazing!

I bought 2 of them.
really sucks cant buy them anymore
u can still buy the carts from chinese sites such as taobao but a knowledge of chinese is highly recommended and shipping is not as cheap.
Get a Chiense speaking friend to place an order - that's my recommendation.
