Got a parcel today from Japan for 6 sfc games I'd ordered..........thought it was a bit heavy, so when I opened the box in it was a few binders with clear plastic sleeves inside. Inside each sleeve is a Super Famicom game flyer.............. ::)
All in mint condition............looks as if they guy collected these as well as games. They are all a4 or a5 size, some single sheets, others up to 8 pages (super street fighter 2 one). I think there is 100's of them (didn't go through them all yet so don't have an exact number).
Guess he just stuck them into the package as he didn't want them any more???
Would it be worth scanning them?
I'm delighted, a nice little free bonus ;D ;D ;D ;D
Anyone here collect game advert or promo stuff???
It would definitely be worth it to scan them. :yoshi:
Old game fliers were/are awesome!
Scanned by MWK, thanks to dic-sc7 from emunes.pl :

Oh man, I love the Disk-kun drawings in this one ;D
I went throught the majority of them and there is over 200 in total..................don't think there's much interest for them round here seeing as it is a Famicom forum, but will probably scan them in and add them to my site, even if just for my own archiving purposes :yoshi:
I think a lot of us would like to see them! Ive actually seen a ton of Famicom flyers but never any for SFC stuff!!!! please post a link to your site at least when they have uploaded! :)
As I say, there is over 200 of them..........many of them 4,6, or even 8 pages (strange all the early release ones like mario worls, pilotwings, fzero, sim city are all just single sided?) anyway I,m gonna scan them front and back like this (done one so far at random as a test ;D)

Battle Blaze Front (a4 in size)
Battle Blaze Back
Is going to take some time...........but even just to archive a lot of them might be worth it?
