New super mario bros for GBA?
When i asked the seller is this a real port of nsmb he told me that it is a hack of super mario advance 2. He even provided me with some screenshots... i do not think it is real and i will not buy it for 20$ (without shipping) will you?

I don't know how he could get such clear screenshots maybe he got them via emulator so there is no proof that this is the actual game on the cartridge.
Oh and there is no manual and no box so he is selling them with those plastic cases... Oh and when i look at the label it seems that a 15 yo made this :D ... if it was me i would not just scale an image and put it as a label or if i do at least i will fix the ersb rating so it does not look like a fake from miles away :D
If the game on the screenshots was on the cart, I'd consider it, but not for 20$. :mario: :coin: :coin: :coin:

Remember we're talking pirates, Tonev. :P There's no quality guarantees, only gurantys.
Awesome PIrate madness! AWAAAAAAAAAAAA
A 15 in no way could make that label. It is actually pretty convincing for a game label.
I 100% believe this is
1. An edit ( not hack ) of Super Mario World ( the original SNES game ) .
The game plays too smooth, for a gameboy advance game. However it is possible, the people at GBAdev would be going insane over this.
2. It is also a possiblity of being a flash game, that is mimicing the Mario game down to very pinch. I have seen a couple of Super Mario flash games that plays exactly like the original game.
3. If your into Mario and want another game, then go ahead and buy the game.
If not give me their contact.
P.S. What makes me think this is a flash is the dramatic appeareance of the background.

Something I've been wondering about the New Super Marios.
Why, did they screwed up Iggy???
Lemmy with a Pony tail is okay, but seriously Why?
They all were soo cewll but now they just seem soo boring. Even the 3d battles seem to be a complete joke. Super Cartoonish in a odd kind of way

You didn't notice the squished ESRB rating?

Have you ever considered the possibility of an emulator?

A flash game on a GBA cartridge? I won't exclude the possibility of the seller sending fake images, but I have a theory of my own...
Notice the dimensions of those images; they are 256x224. For the record, GBA games have a resolution of 240x160, therefore those images can't be from a GBA emulator unless they are stretched. However, seeing as the screenshots look proportional, I would say this is not the case.
Instead what we have here are...
SNES IMAGES!!!(http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr343/JediQuestMaster/edgeworth.jpg)
Hmm.. very very tempting. Although I have a gut feeling it's just going to be the original GBA SMW without graphics changes.
Chinese pirates usually take an image and just squeeze it onto te space, that's why they're always stretched. You see it all the time on famicom and gameboy multicarts.
I didn't notice the SNES proportions before, but jedi's right it's clearly just a hack of SNES SMW and a poor one at that. It won't be whats on the cart so I really wouldn't buy it. Maybe he can boot it up and take a pic? I reckon its just a GBA pirate of one of the super mario games after all. Shame.
Well the sellers email is bibirlz@gmail.com I asked him for pictures on a real gba and he said that he will do it as soon as he can... we will have to just wait and see...
I'd love to have my SNES SMW hack on a GBA cart.
Hey pirates! Put mine on one!
I remember seeing a similar cart with a stretched-out NSMB label. It turned out to be one of those carts with an NES emulator in the form of a ROM (I believe the interface is VirtualNES) with SMB 1-3.
Did you get the pics yet Tonev?
Well no so i guess it is fake ;D (i mean it is not nsmb port or smw hack )

Well if it is emulator with NES smb 1-3 it will be cool :) but why the NEW super mario bros label :D
Is the seller selling it though amazon?
No it was an ebay auction and he had 10 or more of these but it is now gone so maybe he sold them out or ebay removed it ;D
now that i did a search i found another person selling a cart like this one and he says that it is smb1 thought the screenshots he provided are from IGN and not on the actual GBA so it may also be fake
link to the auction (http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Super-Mario-Bros-Game-Boy-Advance-DS-DSlite-SP-/270795206458?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item3f0ca6ef3a)
At least he is admitting it is not NSMB and the label is wrong :D

One minor problem with that auction is that he doesn't specify which version of Super Mario Bros. it is. It could either be the NES version played on an emulator or Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on the GBC. :mario:
Thank man! I'm placing an order right now!
Well any updates??
Well we should wait for klax or for some pictures or i don;t know.... I do know another person who ordered a cartridge like this one but he is still waiting to arrive. when i have more info i will post here :)
now is time to resurrect a dead thread 8)
i was on ebay looking at GBA hack games and came across this one for $8.99 with free ship. seller also has TONS of fanmade pokemon gba games but I guaratee in 1 month or less seller will be shut down and all will be gone :bub: but i buy one of these cartridge and i will provide screenshots to those of you who are interested

will do
got mine today and just finished taking some pics of it. Looks like it is just SMB overclocked :upsetroll:
also has some weird pocketNES GUI built in ???
Yup, that's the one I have
N1ntendo ;D
So it's PocketNES with a ROM of SMB burned onto it huh.
Yeah there were quite a few pirate carts released the same way including some Mario hacks like Super Luigi Bros.
