Title: Kart fighter cart does not work!
Post by: classicgamer16 on September 17, 2011, 03:17:30 pm
Hello everyone! I just recently bought a Kart Fighter Famicom game a few weeks back and it just came here a few days ago.
Excitedly, I put the game in my converter on my Yobo 3rd party nintendo entertainment system and it was not working.
I would expect its because i am not using a Famicom but I have other pirate games (Somari, Super Lion king, and some multicarts) That have worked just fine. I have cleaned the board on the cart but nothing is working.
Any ideas?

Try to use with Famicom original console at first because some pirate console can't play some pirate cart.

The early Kart Fighter carts have a more complicated mapper. And that mapper is usually not supported by recent clones, your best bet would be on an old clone or an original Famicom.

Heres the best advice anyone could give you:

Throw that Yobo in the trash. Buy an original Famicom or older clone system. The only newer clone I have had zero compatibilty issues with is the Famulator (not to be confused with cyber famulator or famulator lite).
