Hey guys, I've just started to start like famicom games. But i want to know what is YOUR most wanted famicom game?
My most wanted was Rockman 1, but that was loooong ago, now I have all 6 of them ;D ;D ;D
Lately it was Metal Slader Glory and Lagrange point, but I got them too :)
Today, it's Gimmick! and I think that's my final big hunt. There are many small ones, like Contra and Akumajou densetsu, but it won't hurt if I won't get them.
I'm always on the look for Gimmick and Hebereke. I've had them both previously but they're nice. Chiki-chiki mou race (Wacky Machine?) is so rare, can't believe I just never see it... Rockman 1 and 6 because people ask me for it.... Contra and Super C, Akumajou Densetsu are always wanted and not super common....
Small box versions of Popeye's English and DK Jr. Math are going to be a nightmare to get. Probably boxed Gyro and Block sets too.
Nekketsu Street Basket: Ganbare Dunk Heroes.. It's on ebay for 142 dollars, but thats too much for me right now...
Moon crystal good i'm dying to get my hands on a copy and Tashiro Masashi no Princess ga Ippai i've been looking for forever
Two of them, among others, are firstly Kiki KaiKai limited edition. Secondly, I want the Bubble Bobble where the disk comes in a clear zipped bag that looks like a pencil case. :bub:
Contra. :)
My top two 'most-wanted' are the pirate JY-120 cassette, and a complete 'Charumera Zelda no Densetsu'.. :bomb:
Mine would be The Gentle Physics and Science of Hazardous Materials probably. It's either that or Mr.Splash! Genuine Mr.Splash!
Bumped for more most wanted games!
I would love myself mint copies of Gimmick, Battle Formula, Star Wars Empire Strikes Back and Recca. If I went to Japan anytime soon, these would be the ones I'd be going for, considering how hard they are to find on Yahoo Japan for a decent price...
As for small sets, my most wanteds would be complete sets of early Namco & Nintendo games as well as the few early Taito & Hudson games in small boxes. I only need 3 of the small Nintendo games for a complete set, but I'd like to replace some of them with mint copies. :)

Which ones? Let me guess... Popeye English, DK Jr. Math, and Gomoku Narabe? I'll be trying for those last two forever...
If you're interested I have a not-great condition Popeye English (sort of sun-faded) but complete with manual and word list. Shoot me an e-mail.
Actually, I just recently won both a Popeye English and a DKJ Math in good to very good condition (or so it seemed on the pictures - as I haven't received them yet) on Yahoo! ;D
These were also the ones that I had been after for many years already!
I bought this for 4500yen in April:

What did you mean by "word list"? I've never seen a copy that came with anything but the standard manual?
I also own a Gomokunarabe in good condition, but missing the manual. It's not as hard to get as the box though, there's one on YAJ for 150yen right now, so I can wait.
No, the one's I'm missing are DK1, DK3 and Popeye. My DKJ is in very bad shape and Golf, Mahjong and Tennis could also use an upgrade, but for now they're ok I guess.
After I'm done with those I can start working on my Namco, Taito and Hudson collections! I only own 2 or 3 small Namco games as well as a Taito Space Invaders, so there's some work ahead :mario:

Almost right after I posted I managed to find a Gomoku Narabe complete from someone else, so that's off the list! But DK Jr. Math... argh!
Anyway, this is a picture of my Popeye English.

It comes with the "word list" there so you can see the different words in the game.
currently..

Or, this (but it isn't a game):

Easy, my most wanted is a Gold Rockman 4! :'(
But, I guess I'd settle for a copy of Recca. ;)
My personal Most Wanted would be a translated Lagrange Point. It still baffles me that this game is untranslated.
@L_E_T: Actually, Square released Alien II for MSX. i wonder if those games have anything in common besides Square, Xenomorphs and Ripley^^
Ultimate Journey (Unreleased, quite possibly the best game never released or to be found.....yet)
I guess it might be cliche a bit, but I want Gimmick too.
I also want the PAL version; considering it was only released in Scandinavia.

Yes it was a port of the MSX game, with some differences of course.
With regard to Lagrange Point, Aeon Genesis has translated some of it, so it is on the way:

Maybe shoot him a message to see how its coming along, if there's anything you can do to help speed it up?
My most wanted game doesn't quite exist- I want an Akumajo Densetsu cart with the English translation on it. I've got it on my Powerpak, but it doesn't quite emulate the sound perfectly.
Oh everybody with the translations? So my most wanted is Metal Slader Glory English translation!
