Title: How to avoid getting burned again?
Post by: BadWolf42 on November 30, 2011, 06:18:01 pm
Okay. So I've bought two Famicom Disk Systems in the last few years. Both from eBay, different sellers.
Neither of them work. Both times the auction has sworn that the units work. I've been doing everything I can to repair the units, to no avail.

I want a functioning FDS so bad. Does anyone have suggestions on how to avoid spending my money on another broken unit? I'm getting desperate.

You can buy one from me with a 1-Year Warranty... Additionally, I can service your existing drives (http://www.famicomworld.com/forum/index.php?topic=5828.) (also with a 1-Year Warranty).

This is exactly what I warn people about, when they try to save some money buying drives on eBay, or elsewhere, they're always taking a risk that the drive will be DOA and they have no recourse.  :bomb:
