Title: Using Genesis Type-1 adapter for Famicom?
Post by: Famicomman on December 13, 2011, 10:11:58 pm
I read in the FAQ that I could do  this, but was curious if I would need a step down converter along with it or if I only need a stepdown converter when using a Japanese AC Adapter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The answer would be no,a genesis model 1 is safe to use on a famicom,it's what I use.

As for using a japanese psu a step-down transformer would be the safest route.

No worries. I expanded the F.A.Q. a tad to cover this in greater detail.  :bomb:
