Title: Hack/Homebrew ideas...
Post by: VenomMacbeth on January 09, 2012, 01:46:27 am
So while playing games like Afterburner and Tetrastar for the Famicom, I got to thinking...how easy would it be to hack one of these games & put an arwing in place of the F-14 in Afterburner, or the Tetrastar fighter, and make a simple Star Fox NES hack?  I was thinking this would work really well for Tetrastar, given there is already character dialogue at the bottom of the screen.  Has anybody ever considered anything like this?

Also, if you have any other ideas for NES/FC hacks or homebrews, share them here. :)

Several years ago i tried to graphic hack Dr. Mario into Dr.Wario after I had seen an early Wario Ware screenshot. Too bad the only thing i knew to handle was YYChar and i gave up on the virus animations^^'
Even if it's simple, i'd love to see a hack of Tetris with Korobeiniki as A-Type music.
As for Tetrastar, a Parodius Hack would be cool. The music is already there*g

Who is your avatar supposed to be? it reminds me somewhat of Winry Rockbell from FMA.

Hacking the music would likely require some ASm tinkering; I particularly love the Atari/Tengen music, and I could certinly sttad for having that in the FC/BPS 'Tetris II'.  :bomb:

She's the main chara from my Rockman Dash Fangame, Maru. The game's supposed to look like a PCEDuo game.
Were there any Ducktales hacks btw? I'd love a sequel with new stages.
