Title: SOPA/PIPA Acts
Post by: nintendodork on January 16, 2012, 08:24:46 pm
Express your opinions.

Those of you who already know what this is, and I'm sure most of you do, will be happy to know SOPA has been killed, and that only PIPA remains. One down!   :link:

The Open Act looks like a much better way of handling the issue.

SOPA/PIPA is an awful way to hurt way to many non-infringing websites.  :'(

FW should go black today in support of stopping SOPA/PIPA.  Then again, who am I kidding...I love this site too much...leave it up!   ;D  ;D  ;D

The reality is that there need be no special acts, laws or legislation to 'handle' this issue. It.s up to copyright holders to enforce their own rights, and via normal legal means. There should be no government regulation on the subject. Period.

These laws are put into place to harm the little guy and protect big businesses. They don't serve the people in any way.

I am formally against any such regulation, and I make that quite clear to my constituents. I suggest and advise that you all do the same.  :bomb:
