Title: EPROM dump of Turbo Game Doctor 6+Manual?
Post by: kocoman on January 22, 2012, 03:38:05 pm
EPROM dump of Turbo Game Doctor 6 (maybe mines has lost its data over 20 years?) not sure how to check yet.

or Manual of it? a scan?

Also my version only have 2 of the 4 'sram' slots filled, is it possible to upgrade it manually maybe? anyone have some experience with it? What is the large chip's name?

Thanks

Ask on Tototek.com. Tomy may have a dump of the chip, or be able to get you a new one. Have you tried the self RAM test yet or checked the internal voltage regulator? I've had to repair some cold solder joints in mine before and also re-seat the chip for it to work correctly, so that could also be your problem.

AFAIK, there is no manual for these copiers. If you find one, I'd love to have a scan of it for my site (http://famicomdisksystem.com).

It seems the "F1" micro fuse is blown, can I replace with regular fuse? what amp/volt should I use?  it says 1A on it

As to the voltage regulator, the capacitor is blocking the "markings" on it.  I don't know if it can be easily tested without desoldering..

thanks
