Rules for the auction:
1) Please place bids in at least 1$ increments. Overbidding someone by 0.01$ is fun - I agree - but only once. If it happens often, it's annoying.
2) Please bid only if you actually have the funds to pay for it. (That is to say: Don't waste your and my time with stuff like "I'll have the money in a few months"... Don't laugh, that actually happened. :/ )
3) Registered airmail shipping to North America and Europe costs 10$. I send to other countries, too, but the cost will be a bit higher.
3a) Shipping without registration (only for regular members with a good reputation): 5$
4) Only bid if you agree with points 1-3.
5) Bidding starts at 45$.
6) The auction ends in about 7 days on February 26 at night (Japanese time)
If this goes well, you can look forward to some more gems later on. ;D

On eBay about double that. In Japan I can't even find a CIB copy in the (online) stores I regularly visit. :o

Well I got mine for $38 but the condition was far worse... This one surely looks minty fresh :D
You also have to take into consideration that the dollar fell a lot compared to a few years ago.
60$ now would mean 4400 Yen for me (which is indeed a lot). In February 2010, Those 4400 Yen were only 49$.
I wonder how much they go for on Yahoo Japan. I usually keep my eye out for deals there.

It's a lot about luck I guess. Maybe it was mentioned in some retro magazine or something. Then the demand and price usually rises.
Played some Crisis Force last night, and if you're in the market for this game, I can't recommend it enough. It's a great shooter.

Very good game indeed. I snagged one for 30 about 6 months ago, but that was a fluke. its not as minty fresh is this one is. I wish you luck on your sale, and to whomever buys this, you will definitely enjoy this game!

There are probably a few people (like me) waiting it out to see how much others want this cart. I'm always looking for new additions to the game pile but money comes and goes at inopportune times for sure. :-[

I agree, but I kind of want to prevent having to sell it for less that I got it for.
If I didn't already have one I'd bid. This is one of the very best Famicom games imo.
If you paid $60 for the game, I suggest you keep it. You'd be happier than selling it for less than you paid for. I don't necessarily agree with the initial purchase for $60, but it's always easy to say that in hindsight. Anyway, I say keep it for your collection. That's my thoughts anyways. :-)
