Title: Famiclone issue
Post by: smeghead on February 29, 2012, 03:24:41 am
Hey guys...

In some games, Kunio Street Basket for example, characters occasionaly disappear (the background graphic is normal).
it's not a big deal, but sometimes it's annoying.
Is that normal for all famiclones? Or maybe is probl. in my TV (Sony Trinitron 100Hz).

btw this is the console i'm using

Well you should test the game on another system that way you will know if it is the clone or the game cartridge

i haven't seen this as a general problem with famiclones.
Maybe if you listed some other games that has problems we could try them.

maybe you are dealing with the hardware sprite limit. So, if you have a lot of the characters on the screen and some of them will disappear for a few seconds.

I don't have many cartridges... That Kunio Kun games have mentioned problems and also Tiny Toon Adventures and Doki Doki Yuuenchi , other games (Super mario USA , Contra, Double Dragon 2, Jungle Book and various multicarts)  work normal.

Can I do something about it?

Did anyone tried connecting FC to TV with S-video cable?
