Title: Famicom Top Rider controller
Post by: John79 on May 03, 2012, 03:35:05 am
Hello everyone,

I recently got one of these - not so easy to find - controllers for famicom but f you hold the controller on your hands and you actually move it/tilt it (the whole lot) there is a rattling sound like there are two or more steel balls inside the casing - I don't actually mean when moving the bike wheel left and right, rather than the whole controller casing.

Is this something normal? It doesn't seem to me that the controller is damaged or broken but I cannot really test it on a famicom at the moment just to be certain. Anyone with a top rider controller could step out and confirm if this is normal or not please?

Thank you in advance for your time!

I would like to also add that the sound is coming from the top part of the wheel. The part under the sticker dials. Hm, maybe this is the mechanism for the famicom to register when the inflatable bike is tilted?

Thanks!
