I'm looking for a complete CIB set for the pearl white GBA SP Final Fantasy Tactics Advance edition. I briefly owned one a number of years ago, and I'd really love to get my hands on one again. FF:TA is one of my favorite FF games, and I'd love to have the ultimate(?) collectible for the game.
The set looks like this (minus the PAL game):

I'm looking to spend $125 on a nice set, negotiable higher if in really nice condition. Please drop me a PM if you have one to part with.
Thanks for your time!

- Hudson Famicom Rack
I don't think I've ever seen one for sale.
I did see one together with a famicom once, and that was a while ago.
Wonder if this is still available http://www.famicomworld.com/forum/index.php?topic=7250.0
Thats very cool and looks like it would come in handy for bundling the Famicom and FDS together! Now Im on the hunt for one haha
Very cool. Wonder how much of a market there'd be for repros of it, haha.

Yeah, I messaged him to see if it was still available, but no reply as of yet. Thanks, though :).
I've seen a few of these for sale over the years, even CIB but not new. Going rate was around $50 boxed if I remember correctly, even though its basically just a bit of plastic from a mold. They do look nice though.
There are, of course, cheaper methods (http://famicomdojo.tv/season2/denshimail/stacked) of attaching your FC to your FDS ;D
Duct Tape :bub:
Hah, I may try some of those methods if my efforts here don't pan out . I've just always like the look of the Hudson rack, but didn't bother to pick one up the first time I saw it on ebay, much to my chagrin.
Still looking!
Week later bump! Still looking 8)
If you find two lemme know :D
Hah, it's looking like I'll be lucky to find one! Hit a couple dead ends so far, but still on the hunt!
it's like I said early on, I have rarely seen these except once when it was attached to a famicom / disk system. They are hard to get off, as I read in some article online... The weight of that is over 2 kilo and shipping alone would cost more than you originally wanted to pay for the rack.
Still, I might find one some day and will let you know. I buy all sorts of junk.
great rack. ::)
I've seen them for sale, outside of the thread you posted. I first found out about it by seeing an auction for it on ebay some time ago. Frankly, if someone does have one mounted to a system and wants to sell the whole shebang, I wouldn't turn them down.
Yeah I've seen them for sale, even boxed. they're just rare, they didn't sell many of them.
They are pretty useless as a product, let's be honest.
;D Quite useless. In fact, it's uselessness may be the driving force behind my search! :mario:
Bump. Still looking!
Check this out.

Maybe the guy would sell just the rack.
Thanks, I dropped him an email. Based on the language of his ad, though, I'm not holding my breath. He seems like a "tough cookie", if you know what I mean.
He'll never get $400 for that.
"I have looked this stuff up on eBay and have conservatively determined the value to be around $1000 if everything was tested and working, but since I have no way to test it I will let it go for $400."
WOW. Jog on...
Yeah, I got quite the chuckle out of the ad, too. However, I don't want to laugh too loudly (yet) in case I actually hear from the guy. Still, $400 for an untested set of consoles and about $100-150 worth of games (which are also untested)? Yeah... :-[
But it's worth a grand! :bub:
And just look at all those genuine pirate games. :mspacman: :blinky:
On this board, pirate games are almost as valuable as real games... :-X
Signs of the times and the old recession syndrome I guess. I'm still amazed at the prices some pirates command oneBay though, let alone VGA graded nonsense.
I just found one...

It will take 3 months before I have it at home....
I wonder if it came from fukushima... ::)
Jeez look at the state of it! :bomb:
Well, if I'm still bumping this thread in 3 months, I'd be happy to hear from you ;D. Sorta depends if it can be cleaned off, hehe. I'm not overly picky, but as it looks now, that one has definitely seen a nuclear disaster! :fire:
This baby should arrive around the end of next week, interested? ;)

Nice!!
Also, check this out for the full range. I meant to mention it ages ago:

I have one of these, It looks almost identical to the last picture posted except the sticker is on the right, the bee looks more like the Honeybee logo and the "HUDSON SOFT" looks to be written as "HVDSON SOFT", I'm assuming this is a knock-off?

I would assume so, but I'm a little surprised a company bothered to knock these off

Yeah, You most often see the bootleg versions. You might notice that the picture from your first post, srimok's rack, and the rack from craigslist are all "HVDSON" bootlegs with the logo placed on the right side and regular round shaped wings on the bee.
The authentic Hudson racks all have the logo on the left side with the proper bee mascot (Official hudson "Cat Whisker" style wings) as shown on both FredJ's and my rack.
i'd assume one was made in china, or where honey bee is located. Possibly it wasn't sold in Japan, so the question is where it was sold? Or when?
The official one? Was sold in Japan, the handbill shows that. Hudson soft is/was obviously Japanese so while it might've been made in Taiwan, it was made for Japan.
Unless I'm totally misreading and you're talking about the bootleg :D
I was indeed referring to the bootleg, lol. :)
I'll just go back to sleep for a bit then... ;)

Still looking. I update the OP to say I'd prefer to pick up a loose one, if possible. I plan to actually use this thing, and I don't really want to pay a whole mess extra just to have an empty box sitting on the shelf. I'll still buy a CIB if it's reasonable, but I'm definitely not looking to pay a big premium for one.
I think 50 shipped is ok, if Epic Lotus doesn't want it, feel free to send me a PM. Only if he doesn't want it of course.
Ill do 60$ shipped
there you have it! :)
Congrats to the buyer.
Still looking for one myself, preferably loose. Any chance a mod could clean this thread up a bit now that Phosphora has deleted his own posts?

I deleted them as a favor to you, as per your request.
theres one on yja right now http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k155200315
went for 500 Yen? :)
I'm still holding out hope for one on eBay or through here first. It's only been a few months of looking.
That last one went for 910 yen (500 was the starting bid), which with the poor conversion rate and SMJ's middleman fees, I'd be dropping $35-40 for this one loose. Going to keep waiting :).
Bumpity ho!
Got it, shoved the disk system out of it, cleaned it, disassembled it.
