Holey moley. :o Screw getting a PAL Rodland; I'll just get the Famicom version.
Yeah, Jedi. I said the same thing when I figured out there was a Famicom Rodland. It goes for about $30 complete...I paid a little more for my first one before I knew the pricing.
But is it exactly the same?
The art looks nice.
Can't say. I've never played the NES version. Since there are usually slight differences between NES and Famicom games by the same names, i wouldn't be surprised if there are some in the Rodlands as well.
is that wario game good?

That's Wario's Woods, which I feel is a VERY underrated game...
JC i think you should sell the nekketsu games individually. For starters, I remember you saying you got them all for like a bit over 100, you could sell each for around 40 dollars a piece, probably more. Secondly, its easier to sell if you split them. What do you think?
That's likely the best option if (when) I eBay them. Individual games make more than a lot, at least for CIB games. I've hocked them here as a set only because that's how I got them and it's preferred to get rid of them all in one shot.
Wow cool collection.
Bump. I've got most of this stuff still, and probably a lot more to add. Someday I'll update this...and maybe someday when I get faster internet I can just eBay it like I've planned to do.
I forgot, do those mario hacks work? I thought you said somewhere they were broken
One works for sure. The other one didn't work on my NES. I'll test it out on my Famicom sometime soon and let you know. My Tekken cart didn't work on my NES, and I was pissed, but then I tried it on my Famicom and it worked perfectly.
i'd be interested in Dodgeball, but don't really the whole lot.
SMB10 works, SMB14 works up to the game itself, then bugs out. And I don't know that I'm willing to split up the Kunio lot just yet, but if you PM me an offer, maybe I'll expedite my thinking.
Hello JC I am new to Famicom World but I do have feedback located here:
http://gametz.com/usertab/NesBoy43/tab/Ratings.html
Anyways, I am interested in purchasing both Mario pirates, Son Son, the yellow game next to Saint Seiya, and possibly your Micromachines and Frogger aladdin carts.
Sorry to burst your bubble, Nesboy, but that Frogger is an Atari 5200 cart. :-\
Jedi's right. If you're still interested in that one, let me know. I'll try to get back to you tonight about the rest of the stuff.
LOL sorry for being a noob, sorta looked like an alladin cart, well you could either reply or email me anytime, thanks for responding :-) if you wanna trade my list is in my signature
Hey JC, my computer was acting up when I sent message so I just wanted to tell you what I wrote: I asked how much it would be shipped for Super Mario 14 and Micromachines
PMed you back. :)
And I've updated my list with new pics and a couple of new things.
Updated and added two items with no pics. I think there's more to add, but my mind isn't working right now...too early here. :P
I see your selling your ASO sample cart! ;D I always wanted some kind of NES proto, so I'm really intriguided and was just wondering how much are you selling it for? :)
Hmm. I don't remember what I paid for it...I should keep track of that so I don't lose money. So, let's see...I'd let it go for $80. Yeah or nah?
I would SO buy it from you, but I just don't have that 80$ right now. :'( Do you remember paying alot for it? :)
Well, it's likely I'll have it for some time, unless someone who collects Famicom samples/protos comes along. If you ever have the money and still want it, let me know. I think I paid about $80 for it, because I remember at the time seeing another one for about $110. Neat thing about them is that they're numbered. I forget what number mine is but it's on the site.
Yeah I would really appreciate it if you could keep it and I would pay you 80$ as soon as I get it. :)
Will do. :)
Sold some stuff and updated my list. :)
Listed updated...added some manuals. I have some other stuff I've gotta add, but I didn't want to take the time to do it now. :P
can we get pics of the backs / sides of the gold punch out box please.
I'll scan it all sometime this weekend. I've been meaning to do that for the site.
not that im nessacarilly going to buy it, im not sitting on tons of money here, but im trying to help you sell it by doing that
Dang I forgot to scan that PO stuff. Maybe soon...I've been way too busy. :-\
JC,
Are those bootleg Mario bros game still on sell? how much are they each? Thanks.
I'm also kinda interested in mario 14 if it's still available.
i think Ancient is gonna buy them...I'll let you know. I need to update my list, as I've sold a few items, but I'll also be adding a bunch of dupes soon.
Alright cool. Let me know if he ends up not getting it.
Got the stuff last night JC. Thank you so much. Everything looks great. You really take care of your stuff. I like that.
I maybe too late, but is dragon ball still available? PM me please
How much for Jesus? Is it sealed?
Famicom games were never sealed. It's as new as it gets. PM'ed.

I never knew that! So they didn't came with any plastic wrapped around it hmmm
I've never once seen an official game sealed, and I think I remember featherpluck confirming this. Some pirates came sealed in plastic, and some unlicensed were sealed with a small sticker.
I've updated my list and added a bunch of loose carts. Take a look, and know that I'm really busy this week, but I'll respond to PMs, etc., as quickly as possible.
PM'd
how much for ninja gaiden and metroid with ship
I've updated the list because of some sales. I should be able to add stuff in the next couple of weeks.
Updated my sale list. I've got a few Famicom pirates and multicarts to add sometime.
Awesome list! The tartarugas ninja cart looks awesome!

Yes, I have had it for a while. The game isn't especially rare, but it sells decently in Japan. And a while back I sold one for $300+ on eBay -- more than it's worth, which usually happens on eBay.

Yes, got the PM just now. And Super Irmaos is a Brazilian pirate of Super Mario Bros., I think. I haven't popped it in my NES yet.
PMed. Interested in the famiclones.
Gold PO is insane. That is so cool that you have a copy JC. Why are you selling it if you don't mind me asking?
At one time, I had three copies. I've slowly been working my way up to a mint copy. The first was crappy (the one that sold for $300+). This one's much nicer. The one I'm keeping is almost mint. I'll need to buy one more before I get to mint, I guess.

Updated. I'm looking to get rid of stuff -- lowball offers are welcome!
I recently sold my gold Punch-Out!! for a low price. I'm serious when I say I want to get rid of stuff.
whats on the multis?
I ain't gonna list them all...but they're your typical games. Some have games you don't see too often on multis, like Ninja Turtles. I'd be happy to make a list if you're very likely to buy.

Mostly because the Super HIK games usually have quality games in them, or from what I played on my computer.
I don't have any HIKs for sale. And yes, the HIKs tend to have better games, usually HK originals.
I like to buy the 64in1 cart. How much is it FC?
Cool! And you're right! I've got a Super HIK 1997 which comes with Mortal Kombat 3 and a Power Rangers game! Didn't notice until you mentioned it ;D.

List updated. :) I've added tons of games; I'm cleaning out my pirate collection.
I think I've responded to all PMs right now. If I haven't, don't hesitate to PM me again.
BTW: Multicarts are $10 for globtops, $15 for PROM. When I said all multis are $10, I had listed only globtops.
How much are the following pirate carts; Sonic & Mario (Somari), Bubble Bobble, the green Snow Bros., and the original Dr.Mario for Famicom? And the NES entertainment computer system games with the cowboy wolf on them...what are the games on them exactly? And how much do they cost? Thanks :)
I was wondeing about those, too.
Seems the Snow. Bros. carts are a hot commodity. Please note that I've responded to all PMs about them and the black one has sold. The blue one remains for sale until payment is received from a buyer. I'll post here once it's been sold.
(Also, Bubble Bobble and Rockman are sold. Thanks.)
some of the images have been deleted
I think it's because they've been sold.
I tried to update my post last night and the forum became inaccessible. The missing images are of stuff that has sold. I have to edit that crap out now that I can again access the forum.
I still see everything with no missing images..
JC - if you edit out the ones you sold I will have a better idea what I would like to buy from ya ;D
Updated. Almost accurate. I think I sold a few of the loose licensed games in the pics, but I'll get to updating those soon.
I've added NES pirates...might sell them all, might keep some. Don't know. I think I'm moving away from NES pirate collecting, since I've been buying so many Famicom unlicensed originals lately.
ALL FC pirates are on hold, pending individual sales and a sale of the remaining pirates to a single buyer. Thanks.
The Black and Red NES pirates.
Are they multicarts?
No. Red is Hino Tori and black is Super Kenshiro 2.
ALL licensed carts now on hold pending payment.
EDIT: I've updated the list.
EDIT 2: Updated my list again. All of the licensed carts have sold.
Pretty much everything has sold. Thanks everyone. Most of the packages have shipped; two will ship tomorrow.
I'll have some great items in a couple of weeks, including an AV Famicom, FDS, CIB games...
Are the 2 HKGC Inc games sold yet JC? Some silly game depot forgot about them... :-\
~~NGD
All the NES carts are available (minus SMB3j).
List updated -- I've got an AV Famicom, CIB disks and CIB carts, plus more. Prices are always up for negotiation.
I would love to grab that AV Famicom... but lack of funds right now means it's not happening. :)

Sold some items, for those of you who've asked about availability. Nothing new listed.
Sale list updated.
PM'ed you about some of your FDS CIB games (Golf, Volleyball, Soukoban)... thanks!
Kieta Princess? Is it one of the disk games that would have originally been in a quite large box like I have seen other ones that came with a tape?
When you call the Famicom loose, does that mean no cords or just no box?
Kieta Princess came in one of the large WAVE boxes, I believe. And the Famicom is just the Famicom, no box or adaptor. I'll keep searching around for the adaptor since I know most won't buy it without one. I've got a couple RFs in my list, but people don't much use those anyway.
I just found a Famicom AC adaptor in one of my various boxes of stuff...so, if you want that Famicom, it's now got an AC adaptor to go with it. I can also throw in an NES RF switch, if you need that.
The Famicom might sell to a member who inquired, but he may end up not being interested...
EDIT: I just updated the thread with a few new items from Japan. I need to list more handbills...
EDIT 2: The Famicom has sold.
Unlicensed carts added -- a bunch of Asian originals!
Damn i want the street fighter iv but i dont have any money :(
Added some handbills.
EDIT: Stuff has sold, to those who inquired.
whoops sorry for the wrong reply....
Added a couple carts and some pin adaptors.
Is that play nes games on famicom adaptor stil avaible? I'll have to check my cash but I may want it. (it is tested and working right?)
I haven't used the SY-700. I've used the other two adaptors. All are available.
Ya I was thinking of the red one anyway. So how much would shipping to holland be?
edit: transferred the money details in pm.

Updated -- added some unlicensed originals.
Is Pao Ching Tien, 15$ shipping included?
"Most collectors know the pirate originals: Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Boogerman, Sonic the Hedgehog, etc. But most collectors don't have a clue what Pao Ching Tien is. Well, it's one of those few pirate originals that was never intended for a market beyond China.
A pirate original that no one is looking for.
Presumably, Pao Ching Tien is the name of some Chinese historical figure, at least that's the impression you get when the game starts up. The game is simple, with this guy and his sword whacking enemies in a platformer. It's nothing exciting, but is a gem for anyone who seriously collects pirate originals.
No one is looking for this game, and most people simply don't know it exists. It's very hard to find, but will sell cheap. You shouldn't pay much more than $10 for the game."
(Pao Ching-Tien was a Song dynasty magistrate famous for his integrity).
Pao Ching-tien, probably the most famous judge in Chinese history.
Using my own words against me. :P Yeah. I can do $15 shipped. I don't recall what I paid for it exactly, but I don't think I'd lose money on it at that price.

Muahaha, I will buy it on my next check hopefully. Along with some other things.
But who knows... I have been horribly broke recently.
Updated the list after a few sales. I've got three items pending sales. We'll see how that goes...
I've got two FDS belts for $10 each, if anyone's interested.
Sold the belts. I've got at least three new pirates for sale: a port of the FDS Pro Wrestling, Contra, and SMB.
Added games and screens.
I'd like Contra and Super Mario Brothers pirates. :D
I've updated my sale list, adding about 100 licensed carts plus some CIBs.
Interested in a couple of your famicom games; Dr.Mario, Devil world, Famicom Wars, Ice Climbers and Super Mario Bros.3. How much are you selling each of them and what is the shipping cost for Canada, Quebec? Thanks!
Hey JC, I emailed you under my email address at waiyan115@yahoo.com for a few games, can you tell if you still have them? thanks

Sorry for not responding to some PMs, etc. -- I've been busy with the election, but I'll try to get back to you all tomorrow night. (The local candidate I was working for won...)

Street Fighter III: Turbo (AKA Mari Turbo) -- $15

Tiny Toon Adventures -- $2
Kid Nikki 3 -- $2.50

Added a bunch of carts, including Doki Doki Panic.
Doki best offer so far: $75.
Doki Doki Panic awaaaaaaa!
Wow, I was gonna offer $10 :P
Yeah, offers are up to $75 now. I didn't expect that...
I still wonder what I'd get if I sold it on YHJ instead of in the US. I saw an unhacked SMB2j sell for over $250 on YHJ a while back, which was just crazy and maybe a fluke.
How much does an official copy of Joy Mech Fight usually go for? I saw the handbill was $70
Handbill's rarer than the game. Game is about $15 loose and $40 CIB, I'd say.
EDIT: Everyone's stuff has been shipped. :-\
yay rockman (1 2 3 4 6 7) & mario 3j pirates are heading my wayyyy yayyyyyy
Altered Beast is heading my way 8)
I've got:
Metal Max (hacked pirate) -- $2.50
Cleaning out some multicarts from my collection, carts I've held on to for a long time, among my favorites:
110 in 1 (approx. 93 unique) -- $15
3 in1 (accessed by Reset) -- Ju Ju Densetsu, Robocco Wars, Samurai Pizza Cats -- $10
4 in 1 (accessed by Power On/Off) -- Saiyuki World (I think), Hino Tori, Castlevania, Rockman -- $15
13 in 1 (all are "light gun" games / includes Lethal Weapon/Lethal Enforcers) -- $20
I've also got a 116 in 1 board for a $3 if anyone wants to put it into a cart. I've got the label, too, but the cart was smashed during shipping. The board's got a cool hack of Nuts N Milk with Pikachu.
EDIT: Pics of these game have been added to the first post. Thx.
I cleaned out some more stuff.
I've got a CIB Famicom -- everything's included but it has an official Taiwanese AC adaptor with an input of 110V, which is insignificant compared to 120V US outlets and probably better than using the Japanese 100V. Got's the manuals and RF switch, plus of course, the main unit, even with that little red stopper that covers the front controller port.
I've got the following you can have (must pay shipping), if they are of use to you, otherwise they're going in the trash:
Two UK RF switches, both generic. One's got a splitter for "GAME" and "ANT". Presumably, you could change the ends to what we use in the US and use them just fine, but I'm not sure.
4 generic AC adaptors:
Sanyo (US prongs)
input: 120V, 60Hz, 7W
output: DC9V, 350mA
+ ---C--- -
Might be FDS compatible -- not sure, tho.
NEC (US prongs)
input: 100V, 50/60Hz, 12 VA
output: DC 9V, 650mA
+ ---C--- -
RINCO (UK prongs)
input: AC127V/220-240V, 60Hz, 50Hz
output: [no info]
+ ---C--- -
TAC (UK prongs)
input: AC220V (50/60Hz)
output: DC 10V, 850mA
+ ---C--- -
I think this TAC is Famicom-compatible.
I've got a few new games, but I haven't had time to take pics:
Boogerman -- $20
Earthworm Jim 2 -- $20
Golden Axe hack -- $8
Master Fighter II: The World Warrior -- $15
Master Fighter II: The World Warrior -- $15
Somari: The Adventurer -- $25
Super Bros. IV -- $15
Super Bros. 6 -- $10
Super Bros. 8 -- $15
Toy Story -- $18
EDIT: Added pics and most screens to the first post.
I bought Super Mario Bros. IV!!!
I am finally going to receive one of the Mario pirates that I have always wanted. Eventually, a Somari and Super Bros. 11 will be mine.

No they are not....
well duh lol
He's probably new to this. Don't assume people know everything you do.
Icelvlan, they are legal because the patent for the Famicom and the games has expired.
No the patent on the hardware only has expired. Pirate carts are still illegal in theory, but no one give a shit about 20+ year old cart anymore.

This isn't a true statement; patents can be extended and without tracking each and every game, you would have no idea about any particular cart. The main point to take away from this is that the manufacturer of the pirate carts would probably get in more trouble than you ever would for buying one. One never knows 100% for sure, though. I'd wager that you'll encounter absolutely no legal troubles over buying a pirate cart. But, how about all that music you have downloaded from Limewire....any worries over that? :P
Nintendo does, but only when annoying whistleblowers email them.

Selling a few hundred pirate consoles & carts in a public place is different than selling one used pirate cart on a forum, though. Apples to apples, folks.
Quote from: ericjBut, how about all that music you have downloaded from Limewire....any worries over that? :P
He probably doesn't. I have never once downloaded a song from Limewire, though many years ago I downloaded from Napster--it killed my computer and that was the end of that.
Nah, I don't worry about Limewire....
I hardly ever download music from there...I know I could get caught...but I really doubt it will happen
Yes, there's always a risk in buying and selling pirate carts -- but I think the risk is worth it...there are too many good pirates to pass up. :)

JC you pick up some really cool pirate carts. I too am a little light in the wallet, but there are several I would pick up off ya if I had more funds. All the carts I got from you last time work perfectly fine btw.
can you hold the street fighter IV for me? i might be able to buy that one
BTW: sb 4 is shipped sorry for the delay
JC you"ve got mail. ;D
I sent a PM yesterday wondering if any of your multis have a Dream Mary (Mario in Dream Land, etc.). Don't know if you saw the message yet, so ignore one of the questions now :P
I saw it but haven't had time to check. I think several of them do, but I want to be sure.
I have a bunch of PMs to respond to and I need to update my list to remove sold games. I'll try to get to it tonight.
USPS is raising its prices (http://www.usps.com/communications/newsroom/2009/pr09_018.htm) across the board, including for Delivery Confirmation. That means I've got to raise mine, too. I think my shipping prices are still cheap.
Decided to try selling a Doki cart on eBay. Check it out:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=230339697557
Also, I've updated this thread. Added a few things, including screenshots.

this cart has proven impossible to dump because of the complex board and unique mapper.
Is this true or is it just sales pitch?
A bit of both. I sent it to a dude who dumps games and he couldn't do it. I'd imagine that someone with mad skillz might be able to.
Aw man, the Doki Doki Panic game... I've been looking for that for a long time...and me without money =(
Added stuff.
Hey JC,
I`ll grab that Super Fighter III for $5 if you`ve still got it. I just wanna try it as I`ve never actually played it. I`ll shoot you over some doe through PayPal. Cheers.
pm sent
Rockman 6 in 1 looks so cool.
JC, what games are on the Super Mario Party cart you have listed?
Mario Bros., SMB, Dream Mary, SMB2j, SMB2 and SMB3.
I'll get back to everyone who PM'd soon.
PMed re: Kunio box
Toshiden looks like it glows in the dark! :D
Also, sorry if this has been asked before, but I've yet to hear a clear description about what "Fat Cat in the Space Ship of Shame" is about.
Fat Cat is some type of fortune-telling game or something like that. It's got a cool intro but I couldn't get pasted the text, so maybe the whole game is text.
Oh, ok. Pm'd
pm send :D
Added some screenshots for those asking about multicarts.
I just came across a Guevara manual, if anyone's interested. I'll be added some new stuff to this thread soon.
Added new stuff.

Updated my list. Strikethroughs = sold. If you've requested I hold something but haven't paid yet, it's going back on the market.

The famicom comic manual, Bible Adventures box and manual?
Pm sent. ;)
Super simpsons should be gone soon, ill send payment as soon as i get your email
Although JC hasn't confirmed yet via PM, I sent him a PM about 10 minutes after he updated his thread, so I believe you're correct that Super Simpsons should be gone soon, on it's way to me. :P
I didn't even see he updated his thread, until I noticed something I'd been looking for for a long time. Hopefully I get it. AKA, you have a PM from me, JC.
Aww crap.
Another pm sent from me
I'll try to reply to all the PMs before the end of the day.

BUMP!! :)
I didn't know people bump other people's topics o_O
Well, our members are "special". ::) ;)
Oh wow, quite the store here. After all these years, is it still running? I'm seeing some great deals.
I check JC's selling page quite often. I buy from him more than I do anyone else... hopefully he can add a few more tantalizing games to sell...? ;)
Everything's still for sale. Well, kind of. Some of the licensed games I just traded with someone. I've also got a PM I need to respond to with more stuff that might sell...

hahaha, thanks!
I have several PMs I need to reply to. I have been way too busy to do it. Sorry guys. I hope life will calm down tomorrow.
Cleaned up the first post to reflect what I've actually got left. Reduced most of the prices.
Have you ever passed the title screen in Fat Cat? I know I ask this a lot, but it makes me more curious each time I look at the damn thing. :D
Dido friend, dido, lol. :'(
Updated. Finally.
I've lowered my prices. I just want to get rid of everything I've got listed. I'm tired of keeping it on my shelf.
If you've PM'd me for something lately, I'm gonna ignore those because I've lost track of who wanted what while I've been busy with life...
I want Fat Cat in the Spaceship of Shame also can I see a video of Pocket Gold?
5$ for pocket gold.
Send PMs if you want to buy something. I'm can't take screens, make or point to videos or list games on multicarts, etc. I don't have the time for it...
JC,
I sent you a PM; Please get back to me ASAP and lock up whatever you have remaining for me.
-Xious
Also sent PM for a few items.
I've responded to the first five PMs.
The sixth PM is the one that offers to buy everything that's left. I haven't responded to the sixth or any after that. If the first five sales go through OK, then I'll PM the sixth. If the sixth doesn't go through, I'll PM any who sent PMs after the sixth.
pm :D
Thanks JC... Contact me when you have everything resolved.
-Xious
I'll have everything packed up and weighed by tomorrow, and will PM totals to everyone.
PM sent 5/21/2010
follow up PM sent today.

Also, I'm a little behind on packing and weighing, but I'll have it done today or tomorrow, with reply PMs no later than tomorrow. I got stuck in meetings and crap.
:'( I'm late. :'(
Sent PMs to everyone as noted above -- except Xious. Once payment's received for the other goods, I'll PM ya, Xious.
Give him time man he has been real busy. Be patient sire.
If it doesn't sell, or the buyer of the lot is willing to part with it after the fact, I'd really like to purchase Eggerland: Meikyu no Fukkatsu
Everything sold. Thanks, guys.
You're not getting out of selling are you JC? :'(
You often had some really cool stuff up for sale.
I hope that you list more games for sale !
By the way I don't remember that JC ignored any of my pms.... I have bought from him 2 times and his prices are very low.
