Title: famicom disk repair place

ive talked about this before with fixing it myself. but that didnt work. since atariusa is closed for now, is there another place preferably in the USA to fix fds systems

I blew 115 on the fds and 18 on 3 belts. I dont know if i should just sell it or invest in a new drive worth 40 bucks

Your best bet would be to email Tomy at Tototek.com or Frankie at gmedoctorhk.com and see if they can sell you just the disk drive mechanism.

Ask for just the disk drive mechanism, not a complete FDS.  ;)

i cant get the screw out. thats how it got stripped. and what size is the screw. plus i think the fuzzy circle on the read head is gone also

i have a dremel but not with that thin of a cutting disk. plus im worried of cutting wires by accident
