I just got another 2m Famicom Doctor in that I don't need. Anyone want it? I'll include a copy of the copy master software that'll allow you to copy disks and tune your FDS motor speed.
I'm interested again. I've got one, but it's a bit shoddy -- sun damage. Let me know your price. I don't remember what I offered for the 4m one. :-\
This one has sun damage too, if someone wants a pretty one, this ain't it :) It's yellowed (well, the blue is darker) in areas where the RAM adapter wasn't covering. The label is a little faded too, but it works like a charm. Definitely not something to put on your display shelf.
Ah, ok. I haven't tested the one I've got yet. I may still hit you up with an offer.
I'll do an even trade for the gold punch out ;D
pics?
Also, whats the difference between the different number of M's, like 2m or 4m
I can take pics of this one, but it looks like the others I've posted.

The difference in size is just memory, how large of a game it can hold. Of course that number is basically useless now since finding the hacked cart games on famicom disks will be next to impossible in this day and age. Today it's useful for properly tuning your motor and for copying disks.
Last call here before I put this up on non Famicom message boards :)
Im interested in it. how much are you asking?
Send me a PM if interested.
I forgot I still had this, found it today while organizing the closet. Same as before. I'm looking to sell rather than trade as I'm trying to make room in my closets. Will probably throw a bunch of pirate multis and junk up here later as well.
Just what is this thing? What does it do? I might be interested......depending on what it is.
Game doctor, it allows you to play cart games copied to FDS disks (assuming you can find them), copy existing FDS disks onto blanks/overwrite other games and you can use Copymaster to properly tune the speed of you drive to achieve the best possible reading results.
oh.....so without blank Famicom Disks then its pretty much useless huh? Is there anyone who sells them? I'd be interested in this only for creating backups of my precious few discs.
Not useless without blanks...'cause you can play pirated disks (from cart), as noted. ;)
Thanks for the info, but unless you're welling to let it go for ~$20 US +shipping, I'll pass. I do appricate you're explanation though guys.
Even though, from madman's pic, they don't seem all that hard to find...they are. We all know madman's got awesome connections. I don't know how much he'd sell them for, but the three I've come across weren't at auction but on forums.
$20 is too low, sorry. I may try my luck on EBay and see if I can sneak it past the censors there :)

Not at all, read the above description again. You don't need "blank" disks, you just need a disk that you don't care about overwriting the data. I've got about 100 pirate disks, I just write new stuff to them.
how much are you asking for it madman? Thing is I'm half intristed in it, but I also am sort on cash atm.
