Hi all!
I have a Metroid disk and I get differents error codes while loading side B. Side A loads fine but side B shows me error 27 or 22 or 24. :-\
I think side B is damaged but I want to share this situation with you so you can give me a second opinion...
Thanks! :)
Do any of your other disks experience loading problems?
It's most likely a damaged or dirty disk, but it could also be a slightly out of tune head on your disk console. I had this problem with 3D Hot Rally (also double sided) - I had to slow the motor down a fraction and then my console read both sides without issue.
Disk System needs better calibration.

I'd tried to calibrate the spindle for about 1 hour without success. At last, when I lost all hope, I decided to tighten the screw and keep my FDS on a shelf as a decoration piece. But before, I needed to try it once more... AND IT WORKS!
I screamed happily, running through my house like crazy! :'(
I think I had luck! :-[
Maybe that's the reason. ;D
I can add, that Metroid is a more difficult disk because it loads so much.
:(
I'll try to recalibrate slightly the head... I'll tell you how it goes!
Thanks!
