Have anyone here played the pirate cart..I played the full version of it
I used to play it. And sold it on eBay. Now I've only last one cart in my stock. I'll sell it on eBay soon.
hehaji, are you prasitw on ebay?
I have a sneaking suspicion they're the same person, which is awesome. Hey, hehaji, I'll buy Super Mario World from you for $60 plus shipping and save you from having to pay the eBay fees. :)
I've never played Super Mario World, but it looks like an awesome pirate. I had heard the game was rushed out and never finished. Would have been nice had the developer finished it.
yes,I am prasitw on eBay. :) I fond this website by item's description of featherplucknfilms. He is my favorite seller on eBay. JC, I will sell it to you if you want. This game is hard to find in thailand but my country have many other pirate multi carts. If anyone want to find pirate carts. You can order me. I'll sell some pirate multi games on Buy/Sell/Trade room soon. Thank You.
note: I've super mario 6 in 1 in my stock 2 carts. It contain SMB,SMB1,SMB2(FDS Lost level),SMB2(USA),SMB3 and SMB1 hacker version. I used to sell them on eBay but eBay pull them out because there are multi games carts. :(
I'm interested in the 6 in 1, how much are you going to sell those for
I appreciate your offer to help us find pirates, hehaji. :) There are a few of us here who would be very interested to find out which pirates you can find in Thailand.
And I'll definitely pick up that Super Mario World. When you are ready to sell it, send me a PM with the total price and your PayPal e-mail address. Thanks! :)
It sounds like that Super Mario 6 in 1 is similar to the Super Mario Family pirate, but the Super Mario Family pirate has, I think, Tiny Toons and bowling on it for some strange reason.

The 6 in 1 cart for $60..that's a good deal..I wish I had the Money
ya me too, im broke
I like honesty, so I'll be honest about the Mario 6 in 1. It isn't worth $60. You might be able to get $60 for it, but it isn't worth $60. I bought my Mario multi-cart for $20 from the UK and it came boxed. If it's condition were excellent, I'd put the worth at $40 tops. But heck, if you can get more than $40 for it, hehaji, more power to you. There's nothing wrong will trying to get top dollar for rare games.

GRRR please keep looking for it, Thanks!
EDIT: JC removed the very long quote. :)
60$ that included shipping price by airmail registered. I used to listing for bid on eBay and it ending bid over $80USD not included shipping $15 USD. If anyone think it isn't worth $60 USD. I'll not post it on sell and kept it. On this time If JC can find and sell for anyone below $40 included shipping with good condition with boxed. Please find them and sell for anyone instead me.
This is Item number: 180014617103 of my old auction Famicom NES Super Mario Party (All Mario) on eBay. Please check it If you not believe me. Thank You.
I'm not surprised you sold a Mario multi-cart for $80 plus shipping. :) People are willing to pay high prices for games they don't often see on eBay. This game doesn't show up often. It may be that the one I found for $20 was great luck on my part. If you can get $80 for it, you should. :)
EDIT: Just so you know, hehaji, I did not mean to suggest that you were in any way dishonest by selling the game for $60. My comment about honesty was intended to keep the forum open to all comments...that's why I intended to say I like constructive honesty, even when it might be unintentionally offensive. :)
JC you can comment anyone, I see. but you should tell about you found for $20 that you was good luck. I used to won bidding items low prices that it prices should to be. And many bidder have won my bidding items on 0.99$ that is his luck.
Example: If Mr.A have won bidding rare item on $0.99USD. Once day Mr.Seller list same rare item on this board on sell $50USD. Mr.A tell anyone about he've won bidding that rare item only $0.99USD the price of Mr.Seller isn't worth $50USD. It should be only the worth at $5 tops. How do you think about this honesty? Thank You.
note:If I sell my item $40USD included shipping. 40-15(Shipping from my country)= 25$ The item is 25$ :-\ If you are seller and live in other country not US, you'll sell it on this prices????
Good point. :) I did get it for $20 based partly on luck. But still, at the same time, I do not think the game is worth more than $40. It's only my opinion. I base my opinion on the fact that I have seen several of these (slight variations) for sale before and I have seen ending prices from $20 to your $80. Plus, I also based my opinion on the condition of the cart. But it's just my opinion. And I try not to judge the worth of a cart by the amount it ends for on eBay. There are a lot of flukes on eBay, where common games get bid-up by a noob or two.
A question to bring this topic back to its original purpose: I've heard that the game has no final battle with Bowser. Is this true?

It's true if that cart is chip circuit board.(light weight) but my cart is IC circuit board(Heavy weight) it is full battle. The circuit board is almost full in Jaleco shape cart. JC, Are your mario family cart is Jaleco shape or basic shape? IC circuit or Chip circuit board?
Sorry, I'm not understand that you mean about Supermario world cart. The answer on top is Mario party 6 in 1 cart. Super maio world cart release only chip cart. I don't know the game has final battle or not .Because this game is very hard.
$60 sounds about right, look at it $15 to ship air mail..That would make it $45 USD + shipping
I might pick up the 6 in 1 Mario Multi-cart from you in late May/June..I'm saving up for trips

If you want it. I'll change good condition cart's body for you.Thank You for interest.
The game indeed has no final level with Bowzer. After a few levels, it says that you beat the game, which can leave many gamers scratching their heads. I feel it was rushed...

Yeah. I realized after hehaji and I went back and forth about the price, we were arguing for the same amount. He said $60 shipped. I said $40, plus shipping. Silly. :D

Ah hell, YouTube loads to slow on dial-up. I'll have to check it out later. I don't remember where I read that there was no final boss, but if you looked in all that's contained on the chip, you'd find Bowser in the stored sprites.
On the youtube video, the final battle is the same as in the snes game
I had the version where you could pick your world..I want that version
I capture Final bossfrom Youtube for you JC .

Thanks, man. :D That's really cool. What's Mario holding?
A mecha koopa. :P
How do you defeat the three-triceratops ferris wheel? :-\
If it's anything like the SNES version, just hit the platforms they are on from beneath them.
I've heard that the full version of SMW is only found on multicarts. I'd be curious to know if that's true.

i don't think that's true
but i could be wrong
The version which ends after level 4 has more on the cartridge that you can play in either an emulator or with a game genie. I don't know if that version does have the final battle or not. Some of the multi-cart versions are the same game just with the ability to select levels so that you can get beyond the 4th level ending. I don't know if there really is a more complete version or if the normal version has the bowser boss battle in the stuff beyond the 4th level. I have a Super Mario World that's not a multi that's in my pile of projects to work on. Someday, I'll have more to say on the subject! :)
Hmm...that's interesting. I had presumed that the full version meant it would move from level to level, without the level select option, all the way through to a final battle. But, you are likely right. I hope we someday know for sure. I'm gonna keep buying every SMW I see, so I can find a level select version, and, maybe find a version that plays past level 4. I got my information about the "full version" multicart from a good source: http://cah4e3.shedevr.org.ru/index.php.
How can we select levels ? I want to check if my copy has the level select option
If you've got the level select version, it's pretty obvious, because you'll see a screen with a pipe for each level -- you enter whichever you want. But, I'm not familiar with any of the Game Genie codes that would provide access to these levels if you don't have the level select version.
There's a secret screen in this game, it's kinda scary.
Enter a level, pause and press Up, Right, A, Down, Right, B, Up, Left.
Try it!
WTF...what's that supposed to be?
I have no idea. I've only seen that thing on Kevin Horton's avatar at nesdev foums, probably because he discovered it.
Maybe it's an easter egg left by the Chinese programmers? I'd love to know more about this, it's really intriguing.
Anyway, it's really weird. It'd be awesome if we could solve this mystery here at FW ;D

WTF...what's that supposed to be?
its JY companys icon
How do you know? I've never seen an icon on their goods and it looks a bit messy in on that hidden screen, not quite a cohesive logo.
What's JY Company?
Google only shows me lots of weird and unrelated shit.
JY Company made a bunch of pirates. You can most easily identify them by the "JY-[some number]" ID codes. Some have said they are responsible for many of the unlicensed originals.
http://cah4e3.shedevr.org.ru/cartsbase.php
Awesome! I'll check my pirate cart collection to see if I have any JY carts :)
There's a smaller version (9 8x8 tiles) of that logo elsewhere in the chr-rom. I have no idea if/where it's used in the game.
Checked a couple of games on that list to see if the "logo" appears in the rom. No site of it in the Mickey Mania rom. However, the full version of the logo (the one used on the hidden screen of SMW) is right at the end of the rom for Power Rangers III. Maybe it is a logo, of sorts (or, at least, a kind of calling card for the programmers).
edit: Ack, the logo is there in Mickey Mania, but it's smaller.

i saw it on CaH4e3's site
Look here http://cah4e3.shedevr.org.ru/cheatsbase.php for "JY Company's Easter Egg" cheats. There is a lot of them almost in all proven JY games, except some early developed.
Awesome! The mystery is almost solved! ;D
Thanks to all who contributed!
I've got some of those games, I'm gonna check later if I can get the easter eggs to work ;)
Ah nice! DK4's looks much better than Super Mario World's JY logo.
EDIT: Mickey Mania 7's is better because Mickey and Pluto continue to walk across the screen and logo.
EDIT 2: "Press Select, Select, Select, Select, Select, B, B while map mode. Then press Select to enter Level select screen." -- don't know if this completes the game, but I get four "levels," or pipes, to show up on my "level" select screen.
EDIT 3: Nope. Ends at 4 with just a crappy "Thank You."
On "Tiny Toon 6" easter screen you may enter hidden game passwords to access different levels etc.
Four pipes - that is it, uncomplete version with only 4 levels. All single cart versions are uncomplete.
Bumping this thread because I'm looking for the full rom of this game. I interested in getting a reproduction NES cart of this, since the Famicom cart is outrageously expensive. Anyone know where I can get this rom?
Try this...it's on there somewhere: http://cah4e3.shedevr.org.ru/index.php
Are..you... allowed to do that?
Many thanks JC.
lol @ JC linking when he wrote the rules about roms :P
can someone post a pic of the easter egg screen?
Don't question my authority. ;) Well, I figured it was OK, since I wasn't linking to a ROM site, to a ROM directly or attaching a ROM. I merely linked to a Famicom site that's ALSO got ROMs. Shady ground here. Nevertheless, two of you are in violation of a rule for questioning a rule violation instead of using the Report to mod link on my post.

Oy! I posted about the easter egg to get the thread back on track. :P
Easter egg, people.
Ha, I was only messing too - if anythin I'm super-duper PRO rom sharing. Heck, I eat roms for breakfast.
I did search online but can't find a screen, the elusiveness is killing me.. I still think SMW is just a bad hack though like Pandamar, that I struggled through a moment ago just to remind myself how bad it is!
Unlicensed and homebrew roms are perfectly legal but I don't remember if they allowed on this forum.
They should since they are programmed by savvy programmers wekkekekekeke
I heard it was programmed by a kid who worked at some burger joint.

would make sense, I think he got burger fat in the code - it's a bit mushy..
I don't remember.
