Some level goals in Tony Hawk games have the acronym 'TC' in them and I have always wondered what it means. I'm guessing it's someone's initials but if so, whos?
I have tried to research it but have not been able to find an answer yet so I figured with all of the knowedgeable users here on FW someone might know.
One example of this is in the School II level of THPS 2. There is a level goal called "Kickflip TC's Roof Gap"
What does it mean?? Has anyone else wondered about this?
I'm not sure, I never played Tony Hawk's on famicom / NES :(

Oh, is that the only system(s) you play?
I coulda sworn this was in the famicom section :)
I checked the credits, there's no Kickflip or TC (or kickflip TC) in there I'm afraid.

I checked the credits also. I'm going to ask someone on the Neversoft dev team.

Hmm...interesting. You're suggesting that it means Top Cat? I'm not doubting you but I need more proof before I can believe that. That is the best answer I've had yet though.
I asked Neversoft this morning...waiting on a reply

That's gotta be it.Tom Cruise is well-known for kickflipping roof gaps ;D.
I think I found a question that the Internet can't answer. Never thought I'd see the day.
Au contraire, I'm sure someone on 4chan's /v/ board would know the answer.

OK, I'll give that a try ;D
Oh man, it's so obvious now: Takeshi's Castle ;D
Well, I got an answer from Neversoft. It stands for Team Chicken. I don't understand it but here is their exact reply to me:
Q: Hi! Can someone at Neversoft tell me what the 'TC' stands for in the names of some level goals, such as "Kickflip TC's Roof Gap" in THPS2? It's driving me crazy!
Neversoft Entertainment : Good question. It was a nickname given by one of our designers. Ready? It stands for Team Chicken. Haha. :)
So...apparently it's an inside joke that I don't understand but I finally know the answer and can move on with my life ;D
Are you sure? Who/what was Team Chicken? I'd want to know...
Seems to check out. Via "an interview with Ralph D'Amato, the Associate Producer of THPS" found in this FAQ: http://www.gamefaqs.com/dreamcast/199057-tony-hawks-pro-skater/faqs/5073 (http://www.gamefaqs.com/dreamcast/199057-tony-hawks-pro-skater/faqs/5073)
Quote-Lastly, if the group there at Neversoft were to hold a tournament, who would
win?
The winner would probably be either our Producer, Scott Pease our Artist/
Animator, Noel Hines or out Designer, Chris "Team Chicken" Rausch. There are
a few of us that could give them a run for their money, but these guys have
the game down.
So apparently designer Chris Rausch is "Team Chicken".
Yeah; it seems legit. It would have been nice to get an explanation of the nickname but I was just glad to get an answer at all.
