Is it tuned in 100% correctly?

Well, sometimes with an RF signal it's picked up on multiple frequencies but not all of them are correct. In other words, you might be getting a picture and/or sound but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's tuned in properly. Try tunning on a different channel, or perhaps even 'fine' tuning the signal you have now if your TV permits.

Well i figured it out, it was my lcd tv. Hooked it up to an old tube tv and it works just fine now, thanks for your input though
